Dr. Gisela Borget was born in Jalisco, Mexico. She was raised in Utah and attended the University of Utah for her undergraduate studies and went on to receive her D.D.S. from the UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill.
After dental school Dr. Borget completed an orthodontic residency and earned her Master of Science degree at the University of Iowa. Dr. Borget is happily married and enjoys her three children: two girls and a boy.
When not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Borget speaks Spanish fluently and is very excited to work with families in the Burgaw area.

Dr. Philip Worthington grew up just outside of our nation’s capital in Fairfax, VA. Dr. Worthington’s journey to dentistry and orthodontics has been unusual and rich. Following graduation from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Dr. Worthington received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the same institution. He worked for two years as a corporate attorney at a large law firm in Philadelphia, PA before deciding to apply to dental school.
After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, Dr. Worthington joined the United States Air Force and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Scott AFB in Belleville, IL. He practiced for four years as a general dentist at the Travis AFB military hospital in Northern California. Following his military service commitment, Dr. Worthington moved to North Carolina and completed his Orthodontic Residency at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill in May 2020, receiving a Masters in Oral Biology.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Worthington enjoys finding new adventures to share with his three children. He is a proud resident of Durham and a fan of coffee and college athletics.

Dr. Clark Cash has been practicing orthodontics since 1992 and prior to that practiced general dentistry for three years. Dr. Cash has both a master’s degree and a doctorate degree in dentistry from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. He also earned his Master’s in Orthodontics from the University of Kentucky (1989-1992). The years of additional training to be an orthodontic specialist make him uniquely qualified to provide the highest level of orthodontic care.
Dr. Cash remarried a year and a half ago to Trudy. They have six adult “children” and three grandchildren. They love to be outdoors, hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing, and skiing. They closely follow college athletics, and he is a big soccer fan. He also loves to cook and is a big foodie.

Dr. Larry Moray is the President and Founder of MyOrthodontist. He brings a unique perspective to his practice. His life philosophy has been to enjoy the richness of life’s many experiences, and this permeates all his endeavors. Dr. Moray moved to Chapel Hill in 1979, entering a Ph.D. program in neurobiology.
He later completed dental training at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Dentistry and spent one year in a hospital dental residency in Hampton, Virginia. Dr. Moray taught at the VCU/MCV School of Dentistry and managed the hospital dental clinic at MCV Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia from 1991 to 1994. Following graduation from his orthodontic residency at UNC in 1997, Dr. Moray opened our first office at Preston Corners in Cary.

Joseph Kunnel, DDS, MS, PhD, is a highly experienced orthodontist who provides excellent patient care at RISUS Orthodontics, which has three convenient locations in Glenview, Northbrook, and Skokie, Illinois.
Dr. Kunnel earned his dental degree at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, where he also completed his residency in advanced general dentistry and earned his Master of Science in Biomaterials. He then went on to the University of Illinois, where he completed specialty training in Orthodontics and earned a master’s in Oral Biology. During that time, he also completed a PhD in Bone Biology at Northwestern University Medical School.
Dr. Kunnel is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He’s also a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the International Association of Dental Research, and the American Association of Orthodontics.
In addition to his clinic work at RISUS Orthodontics, Dr. Kunnel is also active in teaching the next generation of orthodontics. He’s currently an assistant professor at Northwestern University Medical School, and he has spent time teaching at Northwestern University Dental School and in the department of orthodontics at the University of Illinois and Marquette University in Milwaukee. He’s lectured at various national and international conferences of dentists and orthodontists, and he has published many peer-reviewed scientific papers.
Dr. Kunnel’s skills and service have been recognized by numerous organizations. The American Association of Orthodontists honored him with the Orhan C. Tuncay Teaching Fellowship Award and the National Institute of Health gave him the Clinical Scientist Award. He’s also the recipient of the Howard Hughes Award.
When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Kunnel enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessie, and their children, Theresa, Elizabeth, and George, in their home in Glenview, Illinois. He’s still active with bone biology research, and he likes to read and play tennis.
