Dr. Sood received a degree in pharmaceutical medicine from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He received his certification as a doctor of osteopathy at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He returned to Rutgers for his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine, gaining valuable experience at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Dr. Sood is a double board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and is also certified in Pain Medicine. He is the Chairman of Anesthesiology at New Bridge Medical Center. His extensive education and nearly 10 years of professional experience in private practice have given Dr. Sood a passion for treating complicated pain issues. Dr. Shuchi Dhadwal is a board-certified Orofacial Pain specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. She received her advanced education in Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Orofacial Pain from Eastman Institute of Oral Health. She also completed a one-year fellowship program in Craniofacial Pain Disorders from Tufts University School of Dental medicine. Dr. Dhadwal has been a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine since 2010 where she teaches pre- and post-doctoral students and provides clinical care. She also served as a Clinic Director of Craniofacial Pain Center from 2013-2020. Over the years, Dr. Dhadwal has presented at several meetings including Yankee Dental Congress and has published several peer reviewed articles and book chapters. She is an active member of American Academy of Orofacial Pain and serves as a Chair of the Publications Committee.
