Kelsey grew up in the suburbs of Denver and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and her Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Kallio then completed her residency training in 2008 at the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center. She then moved to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, in September 2008 and started working with Academy Park Pediatrics in October of that year.
