Dr. Sanny Chan of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Medical group in Santa Monica, CA is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology and Pediatrics as well. Dr. Chan’s goal is to provide personalized care for his patients, both children and adults, with an emphasis on sharing the knowledge needed to manage complex medical conditions. Being diagnosed with severe food allergies and/or immune deficiencies can be very stressful for patients and their families and Dr. Chan strives to improve their quality of life by helping families manage and cope with these conditions.
Dr. Chan grew up in Southern California but had the fortune to train and work nationally. He received his Ph.D. in Cell and Neurobiology from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine where he worked to solve the molecular pathway of how we see. He finished his M.D. at UC, Davis and completed his pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. He finished his subspecialty training in Allergy and Immunology under the Chairmanship of Dr. William Shearer and Dr. Jordan Orange at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine. He stayed on for a post-doctoral year with Dr. Orange to define the basis of why mutations at different locations of the same gene can cause differences in the specific immune deficiency disease called Griscelli Syndrome.
In 2014, Dr. Chan joined the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology faculty as Assistant Professor at National Jewish Health. He was also Assistant Professor in the department of Biomedical Research working on understanding how the immune system causes allergic reactions to pets and foods, as well as teaching residents and fellows how to care for patients. Over the years, he has published numerous scientific articles in the basic sciences and in the clinical management of immune deficiency and allergic diseases.
Rebecca Raoof, FNP-BC, is a Nurse Practitioner with specialized expertise in cosmetic and general dermatology. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 3 states: California, New York and New Jersey. Rebecca’s clinical expertise is focused on acne, acne scars, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, skin cancer screening, chemical peels, Botox, fillers, lasers, microneedling, PRP and performing excisions for cysts and skin cancer. Her calm demeanor and friendly approach make her easily approachable by her patients. With her deep passion for the Dermatology field, Rebecca enthusiastically strives to help each individual patient achieve the best cosmetic and medical treatment available and educates about skin cancer prevention.
Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied psychology. She later went on to receive her second Bachelor's in Nursing as well as her Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner at Columbia University in the city of New York. She continued her focused education in Dermatology under the tutelage of Dr. David Goldberg of Skin Laser and Surgery Specialists of NY and NJ where she completed her Dermatology Fellowship. There she gained a profound knowledge of cosmetic and medical dermatology as well as an understanding of the use of lasers.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys cooking, crafting, hiking, spending time with her family and her golden doodle, Hudson, and watching the Mindy Project. Rebecca is thrilled to join her father’s practice and excited to provide excellent dermatological care to the Los Angeles community.

She has had a keen eye for artistry since childhood, starting from being a classically trained artist. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of California Berkeley with a major in Molecular and Cell Biology and a minor in Art History. During medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern, she published papers with world-renowned plastic surgeon and former editor-in-chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery journal (the top journal in the field), Dr. Rod Rohrich. Her meticulous nature, extraordinary calmness, and friendly demeanor gained from close to a decade of working as a board-certified pediatrician in Orange County and doing some of the most delicate procedures on tiny babies will put the most anxious patients at ease. She is thrilled to help patients map out a comprehensive treatment plan to achieve their individual aesthetic goals and explain various nonsurgical procedures in detail. Erica Chen, MD, is a board-certified allergy and immunology specialist practicing at the Allergy and Asthma Specialist Doctors, Inc. location in West Covina, California. Her practice is centered around the treatment of allergic diseases, including nasal allergies and asthma.
Dr. Chen earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California.
