Maria Lopez

From 2012 to the present, Maria has worked one-on-one with children and adults who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders in clinical, home, and school settings. Maria has training in crisis prevention intervention and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), application of behavioral principles and teaching procedures (e.g., Reinforcement, Extinction, DTT, NET, PRT, etc.). She is a certified trainer and is proficient in the implementation and programming across evidence-based curriculums (e.g., PECS, PEAK, VB-MAPP, ACT, AIM, Essentials for Living, The AFLS, ABLLS-R, Vineland, The PEERS, etc.), parent education and social skills training. Maria has had additional experience and exposure to working with children with ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, OCD, depression, and social anxiety disorders.
