Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Dr. Valdez never wanted to be far from home. Since receiving degrees and medical training from the University of California at Davis , University of California at Irvine , and Loma Linda University, California , he has enjoyed the privilege of administering general pediatric care in a private-practice setting in the greater Sacramento area since 1991. “Caring for and treating infants and children, as well as being part of their overall development and maturation into adults, is one of the most rewarding experiences for anyone. The actual ‘medicine’ of pediatrics is ongoing and foundational to the practice. The difficult aspect–relaying information and advice to families, making oneself available for support and questions, and discussing treatment options—is where I believe I make a difference”, says Dr. Valdez. Danielle is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
