From 2012 to the present, Maria has worked one-on-one with children and adults who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders in clinical, home, and school settings. Megan Reynolds, CPNP-PC, is a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner who has been caring for children and families at Valencia Pediatrics since February 2014. With more than a decade of experience at the practice, Megan has become a trusted and valued member of the Valencia Pediatrics team, providing compassionate, family-centered care to children throughout Victorville and the surrounding High Desert communities, including Apple Valley and Hesperia.

Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach, graduating cum laude with a minor in anthropology. She continued her education at CSULB, earning her Master of Science in Nursing in 2013. During her education, Megan was actively involved in pediatric nursing leadership, serving as a class representative for the California Nursing Student Association and as a member of the General Pediatrics Partnership Council at Miller Children’s Hospital.

Before joining Valencia Pediatrics, Megan worked as a registered nurse in the General Pediatrics Unit at Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, where she cared for children with a wide range of medical needs and developed a strong foundation in pediatric nursing. She served there from 2010 through 2014 before transitioning into her role as a pediatric nurse practitioner.

Since joining Valencia Pediatrics, Megan has built lasting relationships with patients and families and has played an important role in providing continuity of care as children grow from infancy through adolescence. Rainilda P. Valencia, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with more than four decades of experience caring for children and families in the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines. She has served families in California’s High Desert for decades and has built Valencia Pediatrics around compassionate, comprehensive, and family-centered pediatric care.

Dr. Valencia cares for children from infancy through adolescence and has particular experience in the management of asthma and allergies. Her approach to pediatrics emphasizes prevention, early intervention, continuity of care, and building long-term relationships with children and their families.

Dr. Valencia earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. Following medical school, she completed pediatric training in the Philippines, including service as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. After relocating to the United States, she completed additional pediatric training at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, and Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Southern California. Her training at Loma Linda included recognition with the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Award.

Her career has taken her across three countries and a variety of healthcare settings. Before establishing her long-term practice in Victorville, Dr. Valencia practiced pediatrics in the Philippines, served as a staff pediatrician at King Abdul Aziz University Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and later practiced in Southern California. She has been in private pediatric practice in Victorville since 1998.

Throughout her career, Dr. Valencia has also held numerous medical leadership positions in the High Desert. She has served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Victor Valley hospitals, held leadership roles within maternity and child health services, and served on the Physician Advisory Committee at St. Mary Medical Center.

Her dedication to children and the community has been recognized through numerous honors, including Best Pediatrician recognition from the Crossroads Rotary Club and The Unforgettables Foundation, Physician of the Year from the Knights of Columbus, recognition as a Victor Valley Health Care Leader by the California State Legislature, and multiple honors from the Victorville Daily Press. Dr. Valencia is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and remains committed to improving the health of children both locally and internationally. Grace Moussa, M.D., completed her medical degree at Kuwait University School of Medicine. She took her training at St. Mary's Hospital, University of Connecticut, Yale University, and Columbia University. Dr. Moussa has been practicing since 1994 as a physician. She speaks English, Arabic, French, and medical Spanish languages.

Dr. Noosha Shaheedy is a board-certified pediatrician who serves residents in the Century City and Los Angeles, California, areas. At Shaheedy Medical Corporation, she offers sports physicals, check-ups, vaccinations, developmental assessments including management of ADD and ADHD, and obesity consultations. Dr. Charles Song brings extensive medical experience to his practice, Song Institute of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in Manhattan Beach, California. He specializes in the complex diagnosis and treatment of allergies, while focusing on each individual and taking care to provide comprehensive care that improves their quality of life.

After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern Medical School, Dr. Song completed his residency at the University of Southern California, County Medical Center. From there he went on to finish his fellowship in allergy and immunology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Song is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

Dr. Song describes his career as a happy marriage of private practice and academic pursuit. He has cared for thousands of satisfied patients across different specialties: general pediatrics, adult and pediatric allergy, and immunology. He has taught and trained many young physicians for more than two decades at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Although he has been involved in bench research, his true love lies in patient care and teaching. He’s thankful that his current practice offers him opportunities to pursue both lifelong passions.

Sindu Pillai, MD, is an award-winning pediatrician who provides care at her private practice, Dr. Sindu Pillai, MD Inc., which has two offices in Murrieta, California.
