Douglas was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and then went on to join the U.S. Army. Douglas served in the army for 10 years and was a part of the Operation Desert Storm.
After graduating, he was recruited by the Cobb County Police Department, where he worked in law enforcement and investigations for more than seven years. After some time as a police officer, he went on to pursue his medical education at Kennesaw State University and Georgia State University and his postgraduate education at Emory University.

Dr. Christopher J. Williams is the founder and medical director of Interventional Orthopedics of Atlanta, Georgia’s primary premier orthopedics practice and the first Regenexx provider in the state of Georgia. Jae Yoo, MD, is an experienced interventional pain management specialist at North of Atlanta Pain Clinic, located in Duluth, Georgia. Dr. Yoo graduated with his medical degree from the Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine. Afterward, he completed an internship at Nassau University Medical Center in New York and his residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University.
