He continued to develop his knowledge about this type of testing to detect injuries and nerve damage more accurately.

Dr. Whitacre has over a decade of experience, receiving his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. Beginning his orthopaedic career, he worked as an intern at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with the general surgery unit.
He went on to complete his residency at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for physical medicine and rehabilitation, where he developed his affinity for interventional spine care and musculoskeletal medicine, discovering ways for patients to reach their full potential.
