Dr. Jonathan Stacey graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Medicine, Department of Rehab Science, and is the Clinic Director at the Olney office. He comes to PTSMC with a nearly sixteen-year history with the University of Maryland Rehab and Ortho Institute, treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological issues, ranging from spinal cord injuries and amputations to Guillain-Barré syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis. He also is very experienced with wheelchair seating and positioning as well as vestibular rehabilitation. Jonathan is also skilled at assessing and treating spine and pelvis dysfunction and gait and balance issues. He is very passionate about his career and views his patients as family members, deserving of all the same care, compassion, and attention. He also enjoys teaching. Dr. Stacey is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, with many former interns now successful DPTs. He also served as an associate professor for several years at the University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine, his alma mater. Jonathan is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide the PTSMC clients with a high level of care and to work with a very skilled therapy team at the clinic serving the Olney community and the surrounding area.
In his personal life, Dr. Stacey, a dad of five wonderful children, lives with his wife and family in Sykesville, MD. Raised in the small town of Massena, NY, Dr. Stacey has called Maryland home for over 25 years. Prior to attending grad school, he had a nearly ten-year career with Wal-Mart, where he honed his customer service skills, frequently recognized for this both there and in his previous career at the University of Maryland.
Emilia Kubera-Shelton is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for outpatient care at the Bowie and Laurel locations of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her career at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
Emilia has treated patients ages 5 to 95, utilizing the McKenzie Method and her advanced manual therapy skills to do so. She has a special interest in impairments of the foot, ankle, spine, and shoulders and has provided care for patients with a multitude of diagnoses including neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions. Her expertise also includes a focus on orthopedic conditions, debility, rehabilitation after surgeries as well as balance disorders, fall prevention, and chronic conditions.
Outside of treating patients, Emilia loves teaching students and is a certified clinical instructor. She really loves her job and is looking forward to making long-lasting relationships with patients as well.
Shangyuan Wang, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy and an office manager at the Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center location in Riverdale, Maryland.
Dr. Wang specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of physical disabilities, movement dysfunctions, and impairments. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science. Dr. Wang furthered his education at Howard University, and he received his doctorate in physical therapy in 2016.
He has experience in skilled nursing facilities and inpatient rehab settings. Dr. Wang hopes to use his clinical skills to help his patients at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center’s Riverdale, Maryland, location.
Dr. Wang serves his patients with care and intention. His aim is to improve patients' quality of life by meeting their functional goals and incorporating health and wellness into patients’ daily living.

Corey Fraer is Physical Therapist Assistant serving patients at Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Greenbelt, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and then attended Baltimore City Community College to become a licensed physical therapist assistant.
Corey has worked in a variety of settings from inpatient rehab in a traumatic brain injury unit to outpatient orthopedics, treating a broad spectrum of conditions. He enjoys helping patients regain their mobility, improve strength and balance, and manage pain while providing care in a caring and welcoming setting.
Patience Nduka is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy who is dedicated to patient care at the Bowie and Laurel locations of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her physical therapy career in Nigeria, where she earned her Master’s in physical therapy, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. After completing her internship program, Dr. Nduka practiced physical therapy for a few years in Nigeria, where she gained extensive experience in various settings including general orthopedics, and women’s health through clinical rotation.
In the United States of America, Dr. Nduka earned her doctorate in physical therapy at Dominican University, New York. She is also certified in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy with Ola Grimsby Institute and Women’s Health.
Dr. Nduka utilizes a unique approach that combines soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and scientific therapeutic exercise progression to identify and solve patients’ problems from the root. Driven by passion and compassion for over 15 years, Dr. Nduka is privileged to help people who suffer from pain, dysfunction, injury, and disability return to optimal function and improved quality of life.
Outside of treating patients, Dr. Nduka loves Christian music, dance, fitness, workouts, and church activities.
Sohalia Mosaddegh, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy serving patients at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center’s locations in Olney and Laurel, Maryland.
Dr. Mosaddegh earned a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Howard University. She received her doctoral degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Her research focus was on the effectiveness of physical therapy diagnoses of lumbar disease versus MRI. Dr. Mosaddegh has worked in the orthopedic and sports medicine field for more than 20 years.
She offers patients the most advanced physical therapy for optimizing movement, function, and health. She is guided by integrity, life-long learning, and a commitment to her patients’ health. Dr. Mosaddegh is dedicated to using evidence-based physical therapy throughout the continuum of care to improve quality of life.
Dr. Mosaddegh says: “I have the privilege to work with everyone from middle school and high school athletes, professional tennis players, and weekend athletes, as well as older adults and injured workers. T Gordon Cort, PT, DPT, is an accomplished and experienced Howard University-trained physical therapist. He is the office manager at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center’s Greenbelt, Maryland, location.
Dr. Cort has a wealth of experience in orthopedic physical therapy and pain management. He originally graduated from Howard University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy and returned to his alma mater to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Dr. Cort specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of persons with myofascial pain syndrome, chronic pain syndrome, and other myofascial-related disorders. He has also specialized in industrial rehabilitation. Over the years, he has brought his diagnostic and treatment skills to patients with chronic headaches/migraines of a soft tissue/myofascial origin and has impacted the lives of many headache sufferers.
He studied dry needling techniques under the tutelage of Dr. Jan Dammerholt and applied these techniques in the treatment of patients with chronic pain, especially in the injured worker population. Dr. Court has combined his back-to-work program (work hardening) with dry needling and other pain management techniques to resolve many workman’s compensation cases and successfully assist injured workers to return to work full duty.
Dr. Cort currently treats a significant number of injured workers, taking them from the point of injury to a successful return to work. He has and continues to treat patients with headaches and other orthopedic injuries successfully and finds pleasure in bringing relief to his patients.
Dr. Jonely has primarily practiced physical therapy in the outpatient orthopedic setting where she specializes in non-operative orthopedic medicine and manual therapy, custom foot orthotics and persistent pain. She has completed advance training in manual therapy with the International Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (IAOM-US) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Dr. Jonely retired her status as a certified athletic trainer, however in the past, she had numerous opportunities working with athletes at many levels of competition. She teaches course content in her areas of expertise including Management of Musculoskeletal Dysfunction I/II, and Women’s Health. Her research interests are focused on orthopedic practice management outcomes including collaborative medicine.
