Dr. Karderro Dixon was born in Houston, Texas, but raised in Houma, Louisiana, a city known for its vibrant Cajun culture. At an early age, Dr. Dixon realized he had a passion for caring for others and was reminded by his parents that there was no ceiling to his potential. He pursued his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. 

While at Meharry, Dr. Dixon was instilled with the values of excellence, accountability, and having a servant’s heart.

Born in India, raised in sunny south Florida. I attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate education, and Barry University for a master’s degree. Attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. After graduation, I moved to and practiced in northern Virginia for a few years. I along with my brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and parents decided Houston would be a great place to settle, so we made the move here!

I strongly believe in patient education and information and try to stay up to date with my understanding of what dentistry has to offer. My focus in patient care is being a dental Sherpa or guide for my patients. When communicating dental concerns/treatments my goal is to best answer two questions for all my patients: What are we doing? And why are we doing it?

Outside of dentistry I enjoy cooking, talking to people and learning about anything new that I didn’t know already. To me learning leads to humility. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants and bars, as well as following cricket and soccer. Recently I have re-acquired my taste for football by getting into fantasy football.
