Robert Ecker, MD, FAAD, is an experienced, board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Integrated Dermatology of Groton in Groton, Connecticut.
Dr. Ecker earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Colorado. After which, he worked in pharmaceutical research for nearly 10 years. Through his time in research, Dr. Ecker knew his rightful place was working directly with patients.
He returned to school at the University of Washington in Seattle, earning his medical degree, and completed his internship at the Virginia Mason Hospital. Dr. Fogel is double board certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (a.k.a. Mohs). He heads our surgical and reconstructive dermatology practice, which encompasses Mohs surgery, as well surgery for melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and benign lesions, such as lipomas and cysts.
