Dr. Cheesborough founded Sanford Dermatology in 1980. He was born in Asheville and attended Duke University and Duke Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Dermatology Residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital (now UNC Hospitals). He is married to Dr. Ellen Flanagan, an anesthesiologist at Duke Hospital in Durham. Dr. Cheesborough and Dr. Flanagan frequently travel for volunteer wildlife and medical projects. They have volunteered in Belize, Haiti, Peru, Nepal and several African countries. Dr. Cheesborough and his wife have four children, two precious granddaughters and live on a farm with lots of animals including fainting goats. Dr. Cheesborough enjoys gardening, fishing, golf and hunting. Dr. Cheesborough works in our Sanford and Pittsboro offices.
Dr. Nady Hin is double board-certified through the American Board of Dermatology in General Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery with extensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic experience and training.
Dr. Hin graduated with honors with his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University in 2011. He then went on to receive his Doctorate Degree in Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey(UMDNJ-SOM/Rowan-SOM) in 2015.
He completed his internship at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in 2016. He went on to complete a prestigious dermatology residency at the ACGME-accredited LECOM-T/Larkin Community Hospital(LCH) Palm Springs campus in Hialeah, Florida, where he served as chief resident for all three years of his training. During his residency, he was also elected chairman of the resident advisory board for the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (FSDDS).
Dr. Hin enjoys spending his free time with his newborn son, wife, and two dogs, enjoys golfing, is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and loves to travel.
Dr. Kleinman joined Sanford Dermatology in 2015 after practicing in Alamance and Orange Counties for 14 years. She practices general dermatology with a special love of psoriasis, acne, and skin cancer prevention; she also offers cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox® and Radiesse®, Restylane® Refyne and Defyne fillers.
Dr. Kleinman is originally from New York City but has been in North Carolina for over 30 years. She obtained her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Dartmouth College. She then went to medical school and did her dermatology training at UNC Hospitals. She has taught dermatology in Mexico, Cambodia and Costa Rica and previously served as a volunteer attending dermatologist at the VA Hospital in Durham, teaching dermatology residents and medical students. She has two daughters. When not at work Dr. Kleinman can be found riding her bicycle, practicing yoga, traveling, cooking or reading. Dr. Kleinman works in our Sanford and Pittsboro offices and speaks Spanish.
