Michael Tassavor, MD, MS, is a board-certified dermatologist and attending physician at MDCS: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery with offices in the Midtown East and Upper East Side neighborhoods of New York City, as well as Smithtown, Commack, Hampton Bays, and Plainview, New York, and Clifton, Marlboro, and Englewood, New Jersey. 

Dr. Tassavor provides medical and cosmetic dermatology care and performs highly specialized Mohs surgery to treat skin cancer.

After earning his Bachelor of Science in molecular and cell biology at the University of Connecticut (UConn) in Storrs, Connecticut, Dr. Tassavor completed a Master of Science in biomedical sciences at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.

He continued his schooling at the UConn School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, earning his Doctor of Medicine. He completed a one-year medical internship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston before relocating to New York City for his dermatology residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. 

Then, Dr. Tassavor completed his micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology fellowship training with Brett Coldiron, MD, in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Dr. Tassavor is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), a resident member of the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (NYSSDDS), and on the coding and reimbursement committee of the AAD.

Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Tassavor has published multiple scientific studies in peer-reviewed journals and authored a chapter in a dermatological surgery book.

While in school, Dr. Tassavor gained an interest in working with underserved and vulnerable individuals and continues to use his skills as a physician to provide expert care to those in need.

Carolyn Stull, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon. She treats the full spectrum of dermatologic conditions and specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, surgical reconstruction following skin cancer removal, and facial aesthetics.

Dr. Stull is originally from Philadelphia and served as an Instructor of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania prior to joining MDCS. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Stull completed dermatology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago where she served as chief resident. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. During fellowship she trained with experts in the management of rare and advanced skin cancers, complex surgical reconstruction and laser procedures. She also served as a sub-investigator for several clinical trials testing oncolytic viruses and immunotherapies for skin cancer treatment.

Dr. Stull has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She has been an invited speaker at regional and national meetings, and has been awarded grant funding from the University of Pennsylvania Center for Human Appearance and the Pennsylvania Medical Society for medical device innovation. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Outside of the office Dr. Stull enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband who is plastic surgeon and their daughter.

Toral Vaidya, MD, MPH, is a dermatologist serving New York City patients on the Upper East Side and Midtown Manhattan at MDCS Dermatology. She performs a wide variety of medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services. 

Dr. Vaidya completed her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Cincinnati in the BS/MD Dual Admissions Program in Medicine. She earned her MD and Master’s in Public Health from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Vaidya was selected for a prestigious clinical research fellowship in dermatology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she conducted studies in oncodermatology and procedural dermatology. She graduated at the top of her class with a Distinction in Dermatology. She then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and her residency in Dermatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. 

Throughout her training, she developed a keen interest in skincare, skin of color, and cosmetic dermatology. She has authored over 20 scientific publications in prominent dermatology journals and has presented her work at national and international meetings. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Skin of Color Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. 

Dr. Vaidya is a media expert who regularly writes for and contributes to medical and beauty publications, including Medscape Dermatology, US News and World Report, and Byrdie Beauty. Dr. Ezra Hazan is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hazan went on to do an internship in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then completed his dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital. There he gained extensive knowledge and experience in procedural dermatology, including surgery of the skin as well as advanced cosmetic procedures like injectables, lasers and light based technologies.

Dr. Hazan is on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he helps train dermatology residents, and at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. He has published many academic journal articles and authored multiple textbook chapters on various topics in the field of dermatology. Dr. Hazan is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American College of Mohs Surgery. He is passionate about the management and treatment of skin cancers, as well as cosmetic treatments and general dermatologic conditions. He strives to provide personalized quality care to all of his patients.
