A graduate of Georgetown Medical School, Dr. Mikkilineni was an intern at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and completed her residency in dermatology at Case Western Reserve-University Hospitals. She then went on to her fellowship at New York University.

Robert Bacigalupi, MD, FAAD, is proud to be the Director of MOHS Surgery at All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, serving Glen Cove and Garden City, New York.

Henry Heaton, MD, FAAD, FACMS is an experienced Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and cutaneous oncologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. Dr. Heaton has treated thousands of skin cancers and has completed the most advanced training in this unique surgical procedure. Mohs micrographic surgery is widely accepted as the most effective treatment for most types of skin cancer.

After finishing a residency in Dermatology at Yale and serving as Chief Resident, Dr. Heaton was selected for the highest level of training in Mohs Surgery, an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology. During this fellowship, Dr. Heaton trained under the direction of a world-renowned cutaneous oncologist and reconstructive surgeon. He refined his skills in the surgical removal of cancerous tissue and interpretation of tissue samples, and developed a talent for facial reconstructive surgery.

Gangaram Ragi, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center. He is the Director of Laser and Mohs Surgery, having performed over 20,000 Mohs surgeries while successfully treating over 50,000 patients. Olesya is an experienced, highly-trained Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specializing in surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Felician University, then completed her Masters in Science in Nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University before completing Dermatology training for three years at Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center under Dr. Gangaram Ragi. She is a member of the National Nursing Honors Society and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. Olesya is also fluent in Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian.  

Dr. Vitaly Terushkin is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. He practices Mohs surgery for melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. He also teaches dermatology residents at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Terushkin is one of a few Mohs surgeons in the tri-state area formally trained to treat melanoma with Mohs surgery and the MART-1 immunostain. In addition, he is one of a handful of Mohs surgeons in the country to have completed a fellowship in dermatopathology. Since entering practice, he has performed over 6,500 Mohs surgeries.

Zitelli and Brodland, recognized leaders in the field. He subsequently returned to NYU to complete a fellowship in dermatopathology.

Dr. Terushkin has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society of Dermatopathology. He is a peer reviewer for several professional medical journals.  He is fluent in Russian and conversational in Spanish.

Dr. Allen N. Sapadin graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva Univeristy and received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Prior to accepting a research fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Sapadin attended Rutgers Law School and graduated with honors. 

He returned to Mount Sinai to complete a dermatology residency and served as Chief Resident in his third year. While a resident he earned many awards, including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society. Each year this honor is bestowed upon three of six hundred residents at Mount Sinai Medical Center. In his third year of residency Dr. Sapadin was chosen by the American Academy of Dermatology to represent the United States at the annual British Association of Dermatologists meeting.

Following his residency, Dr. Sapadin joined the full-time faculty at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. There he earned the prestigious Solomon Silver award for excellence in clinical medicine.

Dr. Sapadin is an internationally-known researcher whose curriculum vitae includes over 100 publications. He lectures widely at national and international meetings and is frequently invited by hospitals to give “Grand Rounds” presentations. Dr. Sapadin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Attending at Hackensack University Medical Center, and resides in Englewood, N.J. with his family.

Philip Fried, MD, is the medical director at West Derm Center, which he originally founded in 1991. Under Dr. Fried’s expert guidance, the practice has grown to six New York locations, one each in White Plains, New Rochelle, and Yonkers, and their Bronx offices in Pelham Gardens and Riverdale. At each location, Dr. Fried ensures that patients have access to a wide range of dermatological and aesthetic services.

Dr. Fried began his education at Touro College in Manhattan, where he graduated magna cum laude. He went on to earn his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.

Glenn Kolansky, MD, FAAD, is the board-certified dermatologist at Advanced Dermatology Surgery & Laser Center in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon has a passion for excellence in dermatology and helping his patients enjoy healthy, beautiful skin.

After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Kolansky went on to earn his medical degree at the State University of New York Health Science Center, also in Brooklyn. He then did his internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City before completing his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. To further enhance his skills, Dr. Kolansky completed a two-year fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic surgery, laser surgery, and reconstruction.

Dr. Teplitz graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University with a degree in cognitive neuroscience and a minor in business administration. She went on to complete her internship in Family Medicine and her Dermatology Residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital, where she excelled as Chief Resident.
