Very smart and honest dermatologist. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Gettler for years. We are always able to schedule a timely appointment and never have a long wait because he does not triple book. We have even taken our parents to see Dr. Gettler who carefully cared for their skin diseases and conditions.
He was very professional, on time, courteous and efficient. He diagnosed and then prescribed two topical medications. Going on past history of successful diagnosis and treatment, I assume this will alleviate my condition.

Dr. Gettler, as a board-certified dermatologist, specializes in treating all diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. At the practice, common and rare skin conditions are treated on a regular basis and every patient is provided the standard of care treatment with a patient-focused model of care.
Dr. Gettler provides services for skin conditions including full-body skin examinations for skin cancer identification, treatment of skin cancer, removal of skin growths including warts, molluscum, and skin tags, and the treatment of common and rare skin conditions, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis (eczema), acne, rosacea, alopecia (hair loss) including scarring forms of alopecia, and botulinum toxin (Botox) for hyperhidrosis (increased underarm sweating).
Dr. Gettler also offers complimentary cosmetic services including Xeomin injections for facial wrinkles, sclerotherapy for removal of leg veins, and acid peels for the treatment of wrinkles, sun damage, melasma, acne scarring, and other uses.
A Connecticut native, Dr. Gettler graduated from Joel Barlow High School in Redding before earning his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
He returned to his home state for medical school, earning his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. Dr. Gettler completed his dermatology residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
Dr. Gettler opened Advanced Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology in 2006 to provide dermatology services to the greater Stamford community, including Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, and beyond.
Dr. Gettler resides in Wilton, Connecticut, with his wife and three children.
