Dr. Beschloss has treated my hidradenitis suppurativa in the past, so I made an appt with him. He was a little rough while numbing me but everything regarding the HS went fine. The problem came after when I had a few other minor sShow morekin issues that I expected to be addressed and he dismissed me and refused to look at my other issues as if it was a bother and would require a separate appt on another day. This treatment was uncalled for, unnecessary, and resulted in me in tears in the exam room. I will not be returning.
Quick , thorough and prompt. There is nothing worse than making an appointment then waiting an hour. This was not the case which made me very happy ! Jonathan Beschloss, MD, FAAD, is a native of Westbury, and he’s proud to serve his home community at All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, in Glen Cove and Garden City, New York.
Dr. Beschloss has a diverse background of service, and is committed to care centered around patients and their families. He focuses on partnerships and patient education to deliver the highest quality dermatology services. He’s skilled in all areas of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic.
A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Beschloss is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He received his medical degree at Cornell Medical College in 2005 after serving 10 years as an aviator in the United States Navy.
Dr. Beschloss subsequently continued his naval service as a flight surgeon completing tours in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps. He went on to complete his Dermatology residency at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and National Institutes of Health in 2012.
Dr. Beschloss led restorative care efforts for wounded warriors as the head of dermatology at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, using the latest dermatologic and laser technology to help active duty members, their families, and veterans with disfiguring scars and comprehensive dermatologic care.
Dr. Beschloss is currently on staff at Weill Cornell Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Valley Stream, and US Military Health Plan Mitchell Field Family Health Center. He’s been published in peer-reviewed journals and has served as an assistant professor of dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.

I am disappointed with my visit. I had a lengthy wait time and when I finally saw the doctor his bedside manner was incredibly poor. He did not listen and rushed me out of his office. The visit lasted less than five minutes.
I was very pleased with the service at your establishment last Wednesday. The receptionist was very professional and helpful in assisting me filling out the form as a new patient. The doctor’s assistants were also very friendly and accommodating. The doctor explained the entire procedure in detail which was very reassuring. The procedure was done very quickly and expertly.
I had my annual full body exam with Dr. Bechloss, today. He was very thorough and his usual light hearted humorous self. He saw a suspicious spot on my arm and took a biopsy. As I mentioned, he is very thorough, I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Dermatologist.
