Why do "My Doctor", and I go to Dr. Kolansky? Because he combines his Knowledge, Expertise, Compassion, and Concern, with his Holistic-Awareness of the Health of his patients to treat them. Earning Dr. Kolansky the accolade: DoShow morector Par Excellence! For example, this acknowledgement was exemplified twice today. First, by his expert effectiveness and efficiency in surgically and successfully treating my eye lid and adjacent area. Second, upon my entering the first examination room, Dr. Kolansky while talking to his medical assistant, glanced quickly from down the hall, he immediately stopped and did a double take, then turned around and walked to me – – – and with Sincere Concern and Interest in his voice, said: "How was your Right Leg Injured?" I was Stunned! Because, with the hundreds of patients Dr. Kolansky treated, during the multi-month interlude since he treated me, that he had the recall-ability to notice "Something That": • I had forgotten about; • I no longer felt; • Did not affect my gate; • Was not noticed by my friends, with whom I meet frequently, and had met that morning. • Happened to my leg --which he never treated. • Consequently, it was never in my chart. No one noticed the "'imperceptible effect' of a very minor and temporary injury", including myself; but Dr. Kolansky noticed – – – And that is because Dr. Kolansky CARES !
I have been a pt of Dr Kolansky’s office for approximately 30 years. He is very thorough with his exams and explains everything to you. He makes your visit very comfortable and he is very extremely professional. He is also excelleShow morent with your skin care needs. From the moment u walk into his office front desk staff is welcoming. His medical assistants r professional n sweet. I wish I could remember the name of the medical assistant I have had the last to times. She is such a sweet young lady. She is about 5’2” with brown hair. I highly recommend Dr Kolansky n his staff
Glenn Kolansky, MD, FAAD, is the board-certified dermatologist at Advanced Dermatology Surgery & Laser Center in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon has a passion for excellence in dermatology and helping his patients enjoy healthy, beautiful skin.
After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Kolansky went on to earn his medical degree at the State University of New York Health Science Center, also in Brooklyn. He then did his internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City before completing his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. To further enhance his skills, Dr. Kolansky completed a two-year fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic surgery, laser surgery, and reconstruction.
Dr. Kolansky is a Diplomate of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is board-certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Kolansky is also a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Kolansky has conducted and published numerous research papers within the field of dermatology. In recognition of his dedication and leadership, he has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the NJ Top Doctor Award every year since 2013, and the 2018 Doctors’ Choice Awards Top 100, which is based on reviews by other doctors. Dr. Kolansky is licensed not only in New Jersey, but also in New York and California.

As a new patient, the the initial registration was efficient and once completed, I was soon brought into an examination room. The preliminary exam was conducted in a friendly and gracious manner. Though brief, my meeting with Dr. Lansky was completely satisfactory. He examined me, offered his diagnosis and patiently answered my questions thoroughly.
