Dale Westrom, MD, PhD, is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. A Northern California native, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, his PhD from UC Berkeley, and his medical degree with honors from George Washington University.
Dr. Westrom served ten years of active duty in the U.S. Army, completing his dermatology residency at Walter Reed and Letterman Army Medical Centers before founding his private practice in Santa Rosa in 1988. He has received numerous academic and professional honors and has served as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCSF.
Dr. Westrom has returned to Redwood Empire Dermatology, where he continues to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and several regional medical societies. Outside of medicine, he enjoys golfing and spending time outdoors with his wife and dog between Santa Rosa and Tillamook, Oregon.
