Dr. Sheena Desai is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at Northwell Health, where she served as Cosmetic Chief Resident. In addition to her MD, Dr. Desai holds an MBA from the Heller School at Brandeis University, providing her with a unique understanding of both patient care and healthcare systems.

board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery by the American

She grew up in Southern California and graduated as a Presidential and Renaissance
scholar from the University of Southern California. She subsequently moved to New
York to earn her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College. During medical school,
she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and a recipient of the
Glasgow-Rubin Memorial Achievement Award honoring select women for academic
achievement.

Dr. Shah completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and
her dermatology residency at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. In her
final year, she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she completed
subspecialty fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, and
reconstructive surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell
Medicine. She then became Director of Mohs Micrographic Surgery at
Northwell-Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Shah's primary clinical focus is the management of skin cancers including
squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, early-stage melanoma, and rare
cutaneous tumors. She additionally provides medical, cosmetic, and laser dermatology
services. Dr. Shah lives in New York City with her husband and miniature dachshund, Gus.

Marisa Garshick, MD, FAAD is a leading board-certified dermatologist serving patients throughout Manhattan, New York and Englewood, NJ at MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, as well as an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Cornell - New York Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Garshick provides a wide variety of cosmetic and medical procedures and services including treatments for acne, eczema, hyperhidrosis, moles, psoriasis, rosacea, signs of aging, skin cancer, skin tags, vitiligo, and wrinkles.

She completed her undergraduate education at Emory University and attended medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine, where she graduated with Research Honors and Alpha Omega Alpha. Lisa Gavronsky, PA-C is a licensed Physician Assistant and 2014 Cum Laude graduate of Touro College's masters PA program. She also earned a BS in Marketing from Rutgers Business School.

Dr. Bui completed her dermatology residency at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, following an internal medicine internship and a clinical research fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications covering a wide range of topics, including cutaneous oncology, immune-related skin toxicities, and healthcare access in dermatology. Her research has been presented at national and international conferences, and she is committed to advancing evidence-based, patient-centered care through both scholarship and clinical practice.

Fluent in Vietnamese, Dr. Bui is dedicated to providing culturally competent care and promoting health equity. She has held leadership roles in global health and advocacy organizations and is interested in community health initiatives.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Bui enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She finds joy in cooking, pilates, and spending time with family and friends.

Michael Noonan, MD, is board-certified in both pediatric and general dermatology. He treats patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Derby, Trumbull, and Westport, Connecticut. 

Dr. Noonan graduated from Williams College magna cum laude with a degree in chemistry. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Yale University Hospital with a concentration in pediatrics. Dr. Noonan completed his dermatology residency at George Washington University School of Medicine. 

He is on-staff at Bridgeport Hospital and a clinical dermatology instructor at Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Noonan has published articles and has been a guest lecturer. As a father of four, Dr. Noonan understands parents' concerns about their children's skin, especially when conditions such as rashes, eczema, warts, and acne flare up. Dr. Noonan treats adults and children with these conditions. He also treats moles and skin cancers. 

At the practice, Dr. Noonan and the team see patients on an emergency basis, even on days when the office is busy.

Faith Huynh, PA-C is a board-certified PA providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Trumbull, Connecticut. She loves working with her hands and is passionate about treating and educating her patients about many skin conditions including skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis, and acne.

Faith earned her Master of Medical Science from Yale School of Medicine and completed her clinical training within the Yale New Haven Health System. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston.

As a PA student, Faith served as the Connecticut PA Foundation Chair and a Jack Cole Society Student Officer for her cohort. She was also involved in research and received the Outstanding Thesis Award through the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program in 2024.

Faith is a Houston native, and in her free time enjoys dancing, baking, hiking, and supporting local restaurants. You can usually find her at a concert or a musical in the city, or exploring New England with her husband.

Originally from Westchester, New York, Dr. Verhave completed his undergraduate training at Cornell University and received his medical degree from Upstate Medical University where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital followed by his dermatology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center.  During the course of his training, he completed a clinical trials research fellowship aimed at discovering therapeutics for difficult to treat and understudied dermatologic conditions.  Dr. Verhave takes pride in treating patients of all ages and focuses his practice on medical and procedural dermatology.  In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Verhave is an active contributor to the dermatology literature, publishing both scholarly research articles and textbook chapters.  

 Outside of the office Dr. Verhave is an avid reader and animal lover.  He also enjoys leading an active lifestyle, whether that be exploring nature or trying his luck on the golf course! 

Alexander Fogel, MD, is a highly-skilled dermatologist serving patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Trumbull and Westport, Connecticut.

Dr. Fogel is double board certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (a.k.a. Mohs). He heads our surgical and reconstructive dermatology practice, which encompasses Mohs surgery, as well surgery for melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and benign lesions, such as lipomas and cysts. 

Dr. Fogel was educated and trained at Caltech, Stanford, and Yale. He remains a clinical faculty member at the Yale University Department of Dermatology, and is responsible for educating dermatologists in training. He is also an accomplished researcher, with more than 50 published articles, chapters, and presentations at venues that include the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Journal of the American Medical Association, the New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst, the Harvard Business Review, and the Wall Street Journal. He has also served as an investigator for multiple clinical trials, ranging from pharmaceutical to basic science research. 

Dr. Fogel has received numerous national and local honors and awards, including the President's Volunteer Service Award, the Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society Award, the Yale Hospital All for One Award, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Scholarship. He has received grants from the American Skin Association and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and he is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Royal Society of Medicine, and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.

Clinically, Dr. Fogel's interests are broad and include medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. During medical school at Stanford, he founded a free clinic for patients without health insurance and maintained a longitudinal pediatric dermatology clinic. During residency at Yale, Dr. Fogel was the resident lead for surgical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology, managing resident education in these areas. 

Outside of work, Dr. Fogel is happily married and has three children. He loves exploring New England, partaking in the culture of our nearby cities, and working on his small farm.

Jason Wilder, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist. At Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Trumbull and Westport, Connecticut, he provides patients with compassionate and effective care. 

Dr. Wilder graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in biology. He trained at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his internship at Suncoast Hospital. Dr. Wilder completed his residency in dermatology at St. Barnabas Hospital.  

He has written several articles and has been a guest lecturer for the past 10 years. Dr. Wilder is on-staff at Bridgeport Hospital and the clinical instructor of dermatology at Yale University. 

Dr. Wilder is the father of two boys and enjoys working with children and adults. He truly enjoys working with the adolescent population and has one of the largest acne practices in Connecticut. 

Dr. Wilder is also one of the leading cosmetic dermatologists in Fairfield County. He specializes in cosmetic dermatology and is an expert in Botox®, Juvéderm®, laser treatment of blood vessels, and hair removal.

She has been in practice for more than 25 years and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Whitman also completed a residency in Pediatrics prior to Dermatology. Dr. Whitman prides herself on providing patients with a supportive and caring environment where they receive the best possible medical treatment. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and families. Over the years she has built a community of loyal patients and developed deep relationships with not only her patients but also her staff. She has worked with many of them for decades and the patients appreciate the bond with them as well. In the modern world of medicine where people feel rushed and sometimes not listened to, she is proud of the warm, close environment she has fostered.

In her free time Dr. Whitman enjoys spending time with her children and her granddaughter. She also is passionate about volunteer work and over the past 12 years has spent every summer volunteering at Camp Discovery, a place that children with chronic, sometimes even fatal skin conditions can go to experience a week filled with outdoor fun, friendship, and personal growth. It is an environment where kids can be free from judgment and not be defined by their skin conditions. Dr. Whitman has developed a strong bond with both the campers and fellow dermatologists that run the camp.

She also has done volunteer work in a clinic in Kenya and has been involved for years in Builders Beyond Borders, an organization that brings high school students to build projects for impoverished areas in South America.

In addition, she is an avid animal lover and has been involved with aiding the baby elephants in Kenya and has helped rescue and foster dogs from China and Afghanistan.

Jeremy Moss, MD, PhD, is a compassionate board-certified dermatologist serving men and women in Bridgeport, Connecticut and surrounding Fairfield County. Dr. Moss and the team at Bridgeport Dermatology Associates are experts in complete dermatologic care, including medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Moss is a recognized leader in the field of dermatology and has been invited to speak at numerous scientific meetings. Deirdre Cannon, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant providing high-quality care to patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Derby and Trumbull, Connecticut. 

Deirdre received her bachelor’s degree in health science from Quinnipiac University in 2004, followed by her master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2006 from the same university.

Deirdre has been working in private practice dermatology since 2006. She joined Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in 2014 and enjoys treating a wide array of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, and skin cancer. At the practice, Deirdre aims to educate her patients on general skin health and skin cancer prevention. 

Philanthropy is very important to Deirdre. She has spent time in both Kenya, as well as India, providing diagnosis and treatment of dermatology conditions in rural communities, education to community members, and training the local clinicians to be able to diagnose and treat. 

Deirdre is also an adjunct professor in the physician assistant program at Quinnipiac University.
