Sherocko Gatling-James is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University in 1999 and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2017. Nizar A. Tejani, MD, MPH, is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, making him both a primary care physician and a specialist.
Dr. Tejani has been serving his patients since 1993, when he first opened his medical practice in Stockbridge, Georgia.
Dr. Tejani earned an international scholarship from The Aga Khan Foundation, Geneva, to study at Yale University. He completed his Master’s in Public Health from Yale University School of Medicine. Neil Patel, MD, is a board-certified internist at Alpha Medical Clinic in Alpharetta, Georgia. Dr. Patel joined the practice in 2017 and has since been helping patients enjoy excellent health and well-being in their adult years.
Dr. Patel pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia prior to attending the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his internal medicine training around hospitals in Georgia, including Emory Healthcare, Grady Memorial Hospital, and Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals.

Following his training, he practiced medicine in the area for about three years before relocating to Georgia.

Christine Danforth, MD is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with greater than 25 years of practice experience. She graduated from Catholic University of America in 1991 with a BS in biology/premed. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia in 1995. Dr. Danforth completed her residency of family medicine at Atlanta Medical Center in 1998. She enjoys seeing multiple generations of patients and has a special interest in preventative medicine and women’s health. Dr. Danforth grew up in the Atlanta area and is excited to be back in the Fayette Coweta area, where she previously practiced for 17 years. She currently lives in Palmetto, GA with her husband Philip. When not practicing medicine, she can be found boating and fishing with her two grown sons. Kristina Harpe is Board Certified Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Kristina is originally from the midwestern city amd state of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, She has now been a Georgia resident for fifteen years. Melinda Chavis is a Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a 1991 Graduate of the University of South Carolina where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Nursing. She obtained her Masters’ degree in Nursing in 2012 from Georgia State University. Her interests include gardening, Dachshund rescue, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
