Our Primary Care Physician, Dr. Aref Karbasi, is capable of diagnosing and treating a range of conditions for patients across their lifespan. In addition to family medicine, Dr. Karbasi has a special focus on cosmetic procedures including Botox, laser skin resurfacing, skin care, acne treatments and innovative procedures such as IV therapies, PRP (platelet rich plasma), and stem cell treatments. He and his skilled team of healthcare professionals are honored to serve you.
Dr. Karbasi earned his medical degree from the Azad Medical School at Azad University in Tehran, Iran. He went on to complete his pediatric residency at the Tehran Medical University Children’s Medical Center. He also completed a residency in family medicine and served as chief resident at the Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Columbus, Georgia. He is currently an Adjunct Faculty member and clinical Instructor at Kaiser Permanente residency program in Woodland Hills Medical center.
In addition to extensive medical training in Iran and the U.S., Dr. Karbasi holds many certifications, including Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Program. He is board-certified in family medicine by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
