Heather Whiting is a native of Colorado and has been fortunate to serve the community as a physician assistant and patient care advocate since 2003.

She began her pursuit of a career in medicine at the University of Northern Colorado where she earned a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Human Biology. Upon graduation, Heather worked at the University of Colorado Hospital as a Rehab Therapy Technician. She later graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado with honors and earned a second Master’s degree, a Masters of Medical Science from Saint Francis University.

Heather is very passionate about medicine and believes in caring for the whole patient. She enjoys working side by side with patients striving to achieve optimal physical and emotional health. She is experienced in treating patients across a wide spectrum of disease states and ages, from adolescence to geriatrics. She has special interest in disease prevention and health promotion.

Heather loves spending time with her husband and two sons. They enjoy the beautiful Rocky Mountains, camping, hiking, biking, and snowboarding.

Tony Brown, MD, is the Medical Director and a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist specializing in pelvic stabilization and kyphoplasty at RIA Endovascular. Dr. Brown sees patients at the practice's location in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

He pursued medical school at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Colorado in Aurora.

Val has over 14 years of healthcare and management experience. She spent nine years working as Practice Administrator and Billing Supervisor of a well-established Ophthalmology and Optometry practice. As Magnolia Medical Group's Director of Operations, she works closely with medical providers, counselors, psychiatrists, laboratory staff, medical assistants, and clinic administration staff to consistently develop and nurture a clinic atmosphere that is beneficial and conducive to helping those in recovery. Val has been with Magnolia Medical Group since May of 2021.

Val is a Colorado Native who lives with her husband and their two children. She enjoys camping, hiking, paddle boarding, and most other outdoor activities. She is also an avid reader, so if you ever need a good book recommendation, she's your girl! Val attended Colorado State University to complete a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership.

Pradeep Raj Rai, MD, FASAM, is a board-certified medical doctor and a Fellow of the American Society of Medicine. He is the medical director at Magnolia Medical Group, with locations in Denver and Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and he is board-certified in addiction medicine to offer the highest-quality care to every patient he sees.

Dr. Rai received his bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, before going on to earn his medical degree. After working for several years in the field of addiction medicine, he founded Magnolia Medical Group to provide the residents of Colorado with resources for addiction that combine behavioral health solutions alongside effective medical care.

Dr. Rai has experience in the many forms of addiction medicine and an unceasing dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of his clients and their families.

Colleen has been practicing Family Medicine in Colorado since 2012. Originally from Illinois, she earned her bachelor’s degree at Marquette University, attended graduate school at St. Louis University, and completed her Physician Assistant studies at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2008. Colleen is committed to providing care that is compassionate and non-judgmental. She strives to create an environment where patients feel comfortable and understood. Colleen believes in taking time to educate patients so they fully understand the “why” and “how” behind their health and treatment, empowering them to make informed decisions and take an active role in their well-being.

Christian is a board-certified family nurse practitioner, who enjoys caring for individuals of all ages. She has a strong background in pediatrics, having worked as a pediatric nurse for 6 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She was born and raised in Denver, and attended the University of Northern Colorado, where she completed her master’s degree in nursing in 2018. Prior to joining Westmed, she spent 6 years in central California, providing care to individuals at a private primary care clinic and student wellness center for pre-school to 12th grade students. She speaks Spanish fluently.

Christian prides herself in providing high-quality, patient-centered care, and strives to connect with her patients, to achieve the best outcome for the patient.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, watching movies, and baking.

Michael K. Cavanagh, MD joined Westmed Family HealthCare. He has a special interest in Sports Medicine and Wilderness Medicine. He is Board Certified. During his leisure time, Dr. Cavanagh enjoys running, cycling and snowboarding. Originally from Connecticut, he is married with two children.

As a first-generation American raised in Colorado by immigrant parents from Guyana and Poland—both of whom proudly served in the U.S. military—Oswaldo Grenardo, MD, MBA, MSHA, FAAFP, grew up with a deep respect for accountability, service, and cultural diversity. These early influences, coupled with a desire to improve the healthcare experience for underserved individuals, led him to start his own private practice, OG Health, in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

With over 30 years of experience in family medicine and healthcare leadership, Dr. Grenardo brings a unique blend of compassionate, personalized care and executive-level insight to his patients at OG Health, the practice he founded to reflect his vision of whole-person care. He believes great care begins with a genuine relationship—where patients feel seen, heard, and truly known by their physician.

Dr. Grenardo has held numerous high-impact roles throughout his career, including Chief Medical Officer and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Centura Health/CommonSpirit Health, Medical Director of its Clinically Integrated Network, and Dean of Admissions at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Outside of medicine, Dr. Grenardo is a proud father, sports enthusiast, former Stanford football player, bonsai hobbyist, and certified barbecue judge. He remains active in the community, serving on multiple nonprofit boards, including the American Heart Association Colorado, the Colorado Health Foundation, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver—working to improve health and opportunity across Colorado.

Andrea received BA degree at Doane college with honors. Worked in lab for cytogenetics while studying at University of Colorado Child Health Associate/physician assistant program. Graduated with master’s degree. She has been blessed with opportunity in primary care and specialty allowing continued growth. Inspired by patients’ and colleagues with their insight and enjoy educating patients to allow active involvement in their health care. Andrea is an advanced practitioner who feels passionate to keep updated on new medical advances, provide great care along with respect and dignity to the individual patient. Received the Distinguished Fellowship Award from American Academy of Physician Assistant. Appointed in Empire's Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Healthcare. Andrea treasures moments with her adult sons, family and friends. Traveling and cruising are some activities she finds relaxing.
