Tizita Amde-Michael, NP, is an experienced and compassionate nurse practitioner. She is the founder of Renaissance Medical Spa in Woodland Hills, at The Village-Topanga Canyon.Â
Tizita entered the field of medical aesthetics after experiencing her own concerns with aging skin on her face and body. âI wanted to find effective, non-invasive skin treatments that would improve signs of aging without having an unnatural appearance. Raymond Dorio, MD, is a primary care physician and general practitioner specializing in geriatric medicine at IMAC Medical Group. At his practice in Newhall, California, he provides a wide range of internal and primary care services to patients of all ages.Â
Dr. Dorio graduated with his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1969. He then earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine in 1974, and went on to complete his post-graduate training in the department of pathology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Afterward, he stayed at the University of Pennsylvania as an assistant professor of pathology, researching cell adhesion molecules. Dr. Dorio then researched the biochemistry of alcohol as an assistant professor of pathology at Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly Hahnemann University) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and as an assistant professor of research pathology at the University of Southern California, affiliated with Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
At IMAC Medical Group, Dr. Dorio sees a large number of patients with chronic pain who are on maintenance therapy. He also treats patients suffering from depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and sleep disturbances. For elderly patients who cannot easily leave their homes, many who are over 80 years old with chronic conditions, he offers home visits, treating those with conditions from Alzheimerâs and dementia to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and falls. His three children often go with him on these visits, where they sing âSomewhere Over the Rainbowâ to the patients, who are very appreciative.Â
Dr. Dorio also has a hospice practice in partnership with several hospice companies in California, including Hospice Care of the Valley in Simi Valley, and Golden Oaks Hospice, LA Hospice, and Green Horizon Hospice in Los Angeles.
Dr. Dorio is married to his wife, Ethel, and they have three children, Gwendelyn, Allison, and Charlotte. He is currently accepting new patients and warmly welcomes them to IMAC Medical Group.

I earned my medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences and residency training at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where I completed family medicine/geriatrics/women's health/sports medicine/hospital medicine/comfort care training. Later, I went on to inpatient/outpatient care at Pomona Valley Hospital and San Antonio Regional Hospital.
