Still University of Health Sciences in Kirksville, Missouri. Following my doctorate, I finished a rotating internship at Phoenix General Hospital. I then began private practice in Scottsdale where I have been since.
I am currently Board Certified in Family Practice, Clinical Lipidology, and as a Certified Principal Investigator. I am a Fellow of the National Lipid Association, and the Association of Physicians in Clinical Research.
I have a true passion for medicine, with my private practice, teaching medical students, lecturing in the cardiovascular arena, and running a clinical research site. I also have more than 12 publications in the cardiovascular arena.

Dr. Locnikar is a board-certified physician who has dedicated the last 10 years of his medical practice to Addiction Medicine. Dr. Locnikar's career began as an ear, nose, and throat surgeon. He later specialized in facial plastic surgery, where he practiced for over 10 years. During that time, he developed a substance addiction that ultimately consumed his personal and professional life. After successfully completing extensive drug and alcohol treatment, he returned to the practice of medicine. He has since dedicated his personal and professional life to the treatment of others suffering from similar addictions. Neha Maheshwari, MD is a board-certified family physician at Primary Care Walk-In Medical Clinic located in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Dr. Maheshwari has more than 15 years of experience specializing in pediatrics, women’s health, and primary care.
Dr. Maheshwari earned her medical degree in 2003 from Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India, and completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Missouri Department of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration healthcare management.

She has worked as a primary care physician and hospitalist at various clinics and hospitals in Arizona, including Dignity Health and Banner Health in Phoenix. Today, she is affiliated with Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona.
Dr. Maheshwari offers a variety of healthcare services at Primary Care Walk-In Medical Clinic, including women’s health and pediatrics and is certified to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals. She also offers international travel consultations to help patients stay healthy while traveling.
Carla is an enthusiastic Board Certified Physician Assistant who works closely with Dr. Bashir. Carla is an Arizona native and completed her undergraduate education, locally, at the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. She then earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She developed a strong interest in cardiology during PA school and is enthusiastic about learning all there is in cardiac care. In her free time, Carla enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and skiing.
