Brandon, a born and raised Wilmingtonian, is dedicated to improving the health and well being of his hometown. His career advancement in the medical field began in 2013 when he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with his Bachelor of Science in Biology. During this time he gained 4 years of hands-on experience at a level II trauma center hospital, two years of which he worked in Cardiovascular ICU. With the support of his family and dedication to medicine, he went on to pursue the Physician Assistant Studies Program where he graduated in 2016 from Wingate University. He began his career in the cardiothoracic surgical step-down unit at Duke University Hospital and has since relocated back to Wilmington – the place he calls home. Brandon loves fly fishing, boating, and spending time with his wife and their 12 year old daughter.

Jan Pixton, PA-C, brings over three decades of experience and compassionate care to Dawson Med. She completed her Physician Associate training at Emory University in 1985 and has been a Certified Physician Assistant ever since, building a career focused on patient-centered primary care.
Most recently, Jan spent more than 12 years serving patients at a local Wilmington clinic, where she earned a reputation for her warm, attentive approach and genuine commitment to her patients’ health and well-being.

Allison is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She got her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University in 2012, and she remains a member of Pi Alpha, the Physician Assistant National Honor Society. Since then, she has accumulated years of experience working in urgent care and primary care pediatrics with the clinical skills and passion to provide quality, competent, patient-centered care. In her free time, Allison enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and two daughters, and going to the beach.
Emily Crosson received a B.S. in Biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and completed her physician assistant training at East Carolina University. She is certified by the North Carolina Medical Board and has been practicing primary care medicine for over 1O years. With a focus on preventative care, she enjoys working with patients to develop personalized plans to help them achieve and maintain optimal health. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the food scene in Wilmington and taking care of her two dogs, Max and Jack.
