She graduated from Catholic University of America in 1991 with a BS in biology/premed. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia in 1995. Dr. Danforth completed her residency of family medicine at Atlanta Medical Center in 1998. She enjoys seeing multiple generations of patients and has a special interest in preventative medicine and women’s health. Dr. Teodorovic earned her medical degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in Serbia, completing her studies in 2019. Shirley began her medical career at just 17-years-old as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. She worked night shifts all while completing her bachelor of science degree in Cellular Biology and Biotechnology at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, GA. From there, Shirley went on to receive her master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Anatomy and Physiology at Touro University in New York. Following that, she completed her Physician Assistant degree at St. Elizabeth University in New Jersey.

Shirley serves as a physician assistant not only at Comprehensive Primary Care, but at Colon and Rectal Clinic as well.
