Heather Hutchings, DO, is a board-certified physician specializing in wound care and limb preservation at Limb Preservation Center of East Tennessee.
Dr. Hutchings started the Lenoir City, Tennessee, clinic after helping build wound care programs in two different hospital systems. She’s spent the last 13 years practicing wound and hyperbaric medicine and looks forward to a future of helping her patients heal optimally.
Dr. Hutchings earned her medical degree at the University of Pikeville - Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky. She’s been in practice for more than two decades.
At Limb Preservation Center of East Tennessee, Dr. Hutchings treats radiation burns, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, and other types of nonhealing wounds. She uses the most advanced strategies, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound debridement.
Additionally, she provides expert and empathetic amputation care to prevent complications and help patients get back to their lives.

Originally from Canada, Dr, Busigin immigrated to the United States in the year 2000. He became a flight instructor, charter pilot and was an airline pilot. He graduated from the University of Florida, College of Medicine, in 2014. He completed residency in 2017 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and is board-certified in Family Medicine.
