Sara O’Heron, MD is honored to provide the community of Peachtree City, Georgia with the highest standard of OB/GYN, pediatric, and women’s health care. As founder of Lifeboat Medical Associates, Dr. O’Heron continues a commitment to serving women and children that stems from her diverse training and professional background.
Born and raised in Wales, United Kingdom, Dr. O’Heron emigrated to Canada to pursue higher education. After completing her undergraduate degree in dance and visual arts, she earned a degree in education. She went on to work with autistic children in the field of special education and helped create a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation program for parents of autistic preschoolers.
Feeling drawn toward medicine, Dr. O’Heron proceeded to earn her medical degree at McMaster University in Ontario, where she specialized in maternal and child health. She went on to complete a fellowship in high-risk surgical obstetrics.
Dr. O’Heron practiced OB/GYN and pediatrics while teaching at McMaster University until the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston recruited her to teach primary care obstetrics. While in Texas, she worked in an underserved area and specialized in evaluating cases of child abuse. Then, she moved to Peachtree City, Georgia to teach full time at Emory University.
In 1999, Dr. O’Heron opened Lifeboat Medical Associates, where she proudly continues to serve her community as a skilled OB/GYN and pediatrician. She still maintains an affiliation with Emory University, Mercer University, and Medical College of Georgia, where she teaches aspiring medical professionals. Dr. O’Heron also continues to work with social services, child placement agencies, and children with autism or developmental issues.
Dr. O’Heron is an expert in the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and BRCA genetic testing for breast and ovarian cancer.
Dr. Will Epps practices at our Conyers, Johns Creek/Suwanee, and Lawrenceville locations. After receiving his medical degree at Pennsylvania State College of Medicine, Dr. Epps completed an anesthesiology residency and fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Epps is board certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain management and has excelled in several roles throughout his career, including serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy caring for our servicemen at home and abroad during three combat deployments. He also has the unique distinction of being a member of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, an organization dedicated to high performing professionals in Atlanta.

Dr. Cameron received her medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. She did further training in the specialty of family medicine at the Family Practice residency in Orlando, Florida. Since then, she has worked in primary care offices and urgent care clinics in both Alabama and Georgia.
In addition to her medical education and training, Dr. Cameron has completed a master’s degree in the field of nutrition. She enjoys educating her patients on chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease.

Tashinea Bernadin, DO, is a family medicine and women’s health provider, specializing in regenerative medicine. She sees patients at The Health Woman, which has locations in Snellville, Lawrenceville, and Atlanta East, Georgia. She grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, where she was very in touch with her Jamaican heritage.
Dr. Bernadin earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Georgia campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (Ga-PCOM) and completed her Family Medicine residency training at Northside Gwinnett Hospital (formerly Gwinnett Medical Center). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutritional Sciences from Florida State University.
With a strong focus on comprehensive and preventive care, Dr. Bernadin has a special interest in nutrition and firmly believes in the philosophy that “we are what we eat.” Her clinical expertise involves chronic disease management, preventive health, women’s health, as well as treatment of acute and some chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
Drawing from her osteopathic training, she finds fulfillment in treating musculoskeletal disorders through osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), therapeutic joint and trigger point injections, and regenerative medicine such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bernadin is a proud wife and mother of two. She dedicates her time to community engagement, mentoring youth, and giving back through educational initiatives. In her downtime, she enjoys gardening and finding new ways to promote wellness both inside and outside the clinic.

Ms. Vong is a certified Physician Associate (PA-C) with more than 2 years of experience as a clinician and several years of experience in a medical setting providing quality care to patients of all ages. As a committed healthcare professional, her goal is to ensure that patients will receive the best level of treatment and attention they need.
She received her Master of Science in the Physician Assistant Program from South College, where she gained the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive patient care.
Ms. Vong is devoted to working with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans that are suited to their specific needs and preferences. She empathizes with patients, taking into consideration the patient’s physical, emotional, and social well-being in creating individualized treatment plans.
In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with her friends and family. She has a dog and loves taking him outside whether it is a short walk in the park or a hike near the mountains or river. Her other interests include doing yoga, learning more about gardening, and listening to wellness and nutrition podcasts.
