After graduation, she completed her residency in emergency medicine at The State University of New York at Buffalo. Through emergency medicine, Dr. Trippi developed a passion for obesity medicine and became a board-certified obesity medicine physician through the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2009. 

In addition, Dr. Trippi is board-certified in emergency medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine. I have 20 plus years in a vast background of intensive care, emergency medicine, inpatient rehabilitation and partnering with local emergency medicine services. I received my nursing degree from New Mexico State University and advanced through Grand Canyon University, where I graduated with honors.
