Dr. Ebere Israel Azubuike, MD ("Dr. Izzy"), is a family doctor serving patients of all ages at Mercy Family Clinic in Dallas, Texas. He has about 15 years of experience, and he specializes in primary care and family medicine. 

Dr. Izzy Azubuike graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston, Texas, in 2005. He completed his residency at the Methodist Health System Dallas, Texas, in 2008.

After finishing his formal education, Dr. Azubuike started initially as a hospitalist, seeing patients at various hospitals in Dallas area. During this period he realized that most of his hospital patients do not have a primary care doctor. For this reason, he opened his private practice, Mercy Family Clinic, (M.F.C.) in 2010. His main purpose was to start early preventive care with holistic approach to treatment, hence decreasing the need for these patients to go back to the hospital. As the Chief Medical Officer of Integrative Pain Institute Dr. Verma develops comprehensive programs and medical protocols to address and treat the inflammation and injuries that cause pain. As a Pain Management and Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. Verma utilizes various imaging studies, astute physical examinations, and ultrasound guided procedures to accurately diagnose and treat pain and injuries. Using telemedicine, Dr. Verma’s focus is to provide comprehensive care to patients in order to identify and manage the root cause of pain. This includes a combination of medications, injections, and physical therapy that is provided in a team environment alongside Chiropractors, Spine Surgeons, Interventional Pain Specialists, and Primary Care Physicians. 

In 2019 Dr. Verma attended a Harvard Medical School accredited CME Course "Sports Medicine 2019”. The program agenda was to provide State-of-the-Art Approaches to Optimize the Diagnosis, Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Prevention of Sports Injuries. Dr. Verma also participated in a limited availability workshop to update his knowledge of Ultrasound and the most recent advances in Regenerative Medicine guided by leading experts from Harvard Medical School as well as from the following Boston’s professional sports teams: Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, New England Revolution and New England Patriots. Patricia Roberts-Harris, D.O. a family physician with over 18 years of experience offering an extensive suite of medical services for you and your family. Brandi Burnett is a board certified family nurse practitioner with 6 years of experience all spent in community health. Brandi is a Master’s level graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington. She worked as a nurse for 8 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She is a member of the American Associations of Nurse Practitioners and has a certificate in nurse education. Community health is her passion and where she feels she can make the biggest impact. Brandi is an East Texas native but resides in Dallas/Fort Worth area now with her husband and 3 children. Board-certified since 1987, Dr. Garcia is a highly-trained and experienced Family Medicine physician. After graduation in 1984 from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, he completed in 1987 residency at McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation in Waco. With a special interest in gynecology, he earned certification from the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology in 1993. He opened his first office in Lancaster, Texas, then moved to Professional Office Building 2 (POB II) at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in 2003, doing business as Southwest Child and Family Medicine, P.A. until 2014. Dr. Garcia and most of his office staff speak both English and Spanish.
