Misty Stasney is the owner and resident family nurse practitioner at the JM Family Wellness Center. She has more than 20 years experience in the medical field, beginning her career as a phlebotomist and has continued to work her way through the progression of CNA, LVN, ADN RN, BSN RN, MSN RN, MSN APRN FNP-C, and finally, she received her DNP from TCU in May 2020 with honors.
She has worked in med surg, cath lab, cardiac and neuro units, emergency department, and as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the past 4 years. She is a resident of Burleson.

As the Chief Medical Officer of Integrative Pain Institute Dr. Verma develops comprehensive programs and medical protocols to address and treat the inflammation and injuries that cause pain. Dr. Verma’s expertise and training allows Integrative Pain Institute to offer effective treatments for spine, joint, muscle, tendon, and nerve conditions suffered by men and women of Dallas. By creating safe protocols and teaching the clinical team Dr. Verma instils values of integrity, professionalism, excellence, and commitment to the practice so that patients reach their optimal health.
As a Pain Management and Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. Verma utilizes various imaging studies, astute physical examinations, and ultrasound guided procedures to accurately diagnose and treat pain and injuries. Using telemedicine, Dr. Verma’s focus is to provide comprehensive care to patients in order to identify and manage the root cause of pain. This includes a combination of medications, injections, and physical therapy that is provided in a team environment alongside Chiropractors, Spine Surgeons, Interventional Pain Specialists, and Primary Care Physicians.
In 2019 Dr. Verma attended a Harvard Medical School accredited CME Course "Sports Medicine 2019”. The program agenda was to provide State-of-the-Art Approaches to Optimize the Diagnosis, Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Prevention of Sports Injuries. Dr. Verma also participated in a limited availability workshop to update his knowledge of Ultrasound and the most recent advances in Regenerative Medicine guided by leading experts from Harvard Medical School as well as from the following Boston’s professional sports teams: Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, New England Revolution and New England Patriots. Dr. Verma looks forward to better serving the community of patients with active lifestyles, weekend warriors, and elite athletes and being at the forefront of Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Verma has 10+ years experience practicing Emergency Medicine, Pain and Injury Management. Dr. Verma has also been teaching medicine to young physicians for most of his career as he is also Adjunct Clinical Professor of Family Medicine for McMaster University. Dr. Verma is able to offer advanced treatment plans that can help patients suffering find immediate and long lasting pain relief. Dr. Verma’s goal is to safely return the injured individual, worker, or athlete, back to his or her prior level of function, productivity, or performance. Karan Staggers is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University College of Nursing (BSN) and Walden University (MSN in Nursing) specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner. Karan is associated with A.L.M.S. Community Health Center, Inc in Grand Prairie, Texas where she is actively practicing as an FNP-C. Karan has been in nursing for greater than 25 years specializing in pediatric nursing, critical care nursing, and emergency medicine. She has been recognized as a Sigma Theta Tau international member for nurses. She was awarded the P.R.I.D.E. (Participation, Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Excellence) Values award for nursing by the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, Illinois for excellence in nursing. She has had a career interest in the health and well-being of the family since her inception of her career. Her focus is identifying disease, managing chronic illness, and educating patients about their health.
Board-certified since 1987, Dr. Garcia is a highly-trained and experienced Family Medicine physician. After graduation in 1984 from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, he completed in 1987 residency at McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation in Waco. With a special interest in gynecology, he earned certification from the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology in 1993.
He opened his first office in Lancaster, Texas, then moved to Professional Office Building 2 (POB II) at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in 2003, doing business as Southwest Child and Family Medicine, P.A. until 2014. Dr. Garcia and most of his office staff speak both English and Spanish.
