Outside the therapy room, Rebecca lives in Maine with her husband and three mischievous dogs. She finds joy in outdoor work clearing land with her battery-powered chainsaw and in nurturing her flourishing rose gardens, a passion sparked during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Andrew draws from evidence-based modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs. Known for his empathetic and understanding approach, Andrew creates a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard and empowered. Rebecca is a Clinical Social Worker at HRCC and an alumna of Fordham University, where her studies focused on Veterans, dissociative disorders, and therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and talk therapy. Her personal experiences as a mother of two sons and the spouse of an Army Veteran have profoundly influenced her professional practice.
Prior to her current role, Rebecca served as a caregiver/aide during her early college years, providing care for individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities, including but not limited to Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Down Syndrome. Additionally, Rebecca maintained a 14-year career as a hair and makeup artist, a background that has shaped her holistic approach to health, beauty, and therapy.
In her current practice, Rebecca specializes in prenatal and postpartum women, adolescents, trauma, anxiety, depression, and military families. She utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including Strength-based, Goal-Setting, Narrative, and Family Systems Theory.
