She completed her medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1999 and completed her family practice residency at Jefferson Health Systems, Frankford hospitals in 2003. She was chief resident of her family practice program in 2002-2003. Along with providing traditional family medicine, Dr. Hurst, D.O., is currently enrolled in a diet/nutrition program with the desire to offer education and counseling on the healing properties contained in the food and vitamins we eat.
