She completed her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and Master's degree in PA studies at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. Throughout her rigorous education, she was able to learn all necessary medical skills and put them into practice. Shannon was able to work with many populations during her training in Indiana and learned how to practice patient-centered care. Shannon is interested in all aspects of medicine but has a special passion for women's health, ENT, and dermatologic conditions. Shannon Shipman strives to provide comprehensive, empowering, and patient-centered care to all of her patients no matter the situation at hand. Andrea holds a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor chemistry and a concentration in pre-med from Merrimack College. Andrea honed her clinical experise even further as a patient care aassociate at Massachusetts General Hospital before earning her physician assitant degeree from Seton Hall University.

Dr. Bastani is a Licensed Family Medicine specialist in the state of Illinois. He graduated from Rush Medical School and received his residency training at the Northwestern University-St. Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Program where he also served as chief resident. In addition, he completed an externship in Family Therapy at the Family Institute of Chicago, a Northwestern University affiliate.
In addition to 25 plus years as a faculty member of one of Chicago’s leading Family Medicine residency programs, he has worked as a private physician in an ethnically diverse neighborhood of the city since the 1990's. He has extensive experience in hospitalist medicine, and previously served as the Medical Director of an alternative health center focused on the care of AIDS patients. His areas of special interest and expertise include academic evidence based medicine, geriatrics, complex medical cases as well as general family and preventive medicine.
