After training in general surgery at Columbia University for two years, Dr. Cué began his residency in a nationally ranked rural residency program at East Carolina University. During this time, he came to realize that although diet and exercise were widely regarded as the two main pillars of optimal health, there was a missing third pillar that was just as essential — sleep. Dr. Cué decided he wanted to incorporate the three pillars of health into his medical practice, so he completed advanced training and obtained his board certification in Sleep Medicine in 2009.
