James Hawkins, DO, is a vein specialist certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, with over 30 years of experience. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, Dr. Hawkins serves patients living in and around Sandwich, Yorkville, and Aurora, Illinois.

Dr. Hawkins was born just outside of Chicago in Evergreen Park. He earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College, located in Lisle, Illinois, followed by his medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Hawkins then completed his subsequent residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, located in Chicago.

Today, Dr. Hawkins is a registered vascular technologist and a registered physician in vascular interpretation. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, he offers effective solutions for several common vascular conditions, including spider veins and varicose veins. Dr. Aleksandr Podolskiy is a board-certified Family Practice Medical Doctor, who works with patients of all ages in the Libertyville and Lake County area, including those who are Russian or Polish speaking. Dr. Podolskiy began his medical training in the Ukraine, his native country. He then went on to complete a Family Practice residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. 

As a Family Practice physician, Dr. Podolskiy helps patients with a wide range of medical needs. His training spans multiple areas, including pediatrics, general internal medicine, orthopedics, gynecology, psychiatry and family counseling. Dr. Podolskiy prides himself on being available for patients ranging from infants to adolescents to patients in their geriatric years.

As patients enter their geriatric years, they may transition into local assisted-living facilities or local nursing facilities. Dr. Podolskiy frequently follows his patients while they are in these facilities as well. Michael Favila, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician on the team at Health Solutions. He provides comprehensive care for patients at the practice’s convenient offices in Tinley Park, Illinois, and in Munster, Indiana.  

Dr. Favila completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, earning his Bachelor of Science in microbiology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, graduating in 2017. 

Following medical school, Dr. Favila completed his residency in family medicine at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. He was named Family Medicine Chief Resident in his final year. 

At Health Solutions, Dr. Favila provides the full scope of family medicine services, including annual physical exams and the management of conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. In addition to being certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Favila holds a PCSS Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Certification to help patients who are suffering from substance use disorder.

During residency, Dr. Du received some of his training at Health Solutions. Therefore, the practice was excited to recently welcome him to the team full-time. Roy J. Bardwell, DO, is a board-certified family medicine and pain medicine physician with over 10 years of professional experience. At Health Solutions, with locations in Munster, Indiana, and Tinley Park, Illinois, Dr. Bardwell specializes in osteopathic manipulation with an emphasis on chronic headaches and cranial pathology. 

Dr. Bardwell received his medical degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) in Stratford, New Jersey. He completed both his internship and residency in family medicine at Saint James Hospital in Flossmoor.

Maddison Murphy, PA-C joined Bone and Joint Specialists as Dr. Shukairy’s physician assistant in October 2024.

She was born and raised in central Illinois. She attended Valparaiso University and earned her Bachelors of Health Science in August 2022. During her undergraduate career, she also played on the women’s golf team.

She graduated from Valparaiso University with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in August 2024. In her freetime, she enjoys playing golf, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
