Shashank Singh, MD, is one of the skilled physicians practicing at Houston Kidney Specialists Center (HKSC), which has four locations – three in Cypress and one in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Singh was born in India and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, from the young age of 1 year. He received his bachelor's degree in biology from Kennesaw State University and received his medical degree from St. George's University in 2014. He later completed his internal medicine residency in Brooklyn, New York. He finished his residency in 2017 and worked at LSU - Shreveport for some time as an internal medicine faculty associate professor. Yasser Al-Khadra, MD, FACC, is a highly trained cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston, Katy, and Cypress, Texas.

Dr. Al-Khadra is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology and cardiac computed tomography. He completed his General Cardiology fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. Then, went on for his Interventional Cardiology training at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. During his fellowships, he was trained to perform high risk coronary procedures and chronic total occlusions.

Dr. Al-Khadra is well versed in multiple imaging modalities including PET scans, nuclear cardiology, cardiac computed tomography and echocardiography. He is skilled in complex coronary interventions, peripheral vascular interventions, patent foramen oval occlusion and management of pulmonary embolisms and deep vein thrombosis.

Dr. Al-Khadra has served as the director of study design and statistical analysis for the Cardiovascular Research Network research group and is well published with over 40 publications. Anil Odhav, MD, FACC, is an expert cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston and Katy, Texas.

Dr. Odhav was born in Zambia, Africa. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Zambia, he attended the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, where he completed his Internal Medicine residency and a year as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor.

James Feldman, MD, FACC, is an exceptional cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston, Katy and Cypress, Texas. 

Dr. Feldman was born in Houston, Texas. He grew up in the Memorial area and attended Memorial High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in Economics with honors from The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Feldman completed his medical training at Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Waco, Texas.

George Mammen, MD, FACC, is a talented cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston and Katy, Texas. 

Dr. Mammen grew up in Kerala, India, and earned his medical degree at Trivandrum Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram, India. Moving to the United States to continue his education, Dr. Mammen completed a residency in internal medicine at South Baltimore General Hospital in Maryland and a cardiology fellowship at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Texas Heart Institute in Houston.

Dr. Mammen is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology. When not at the office, Dr. Mammen’s personal interests include tennis and skiing. He likes to spend his spare time with his wife and three children.

Amir Kashani, MD, MS, FACC, is a well-trained cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston, Katy, and Sealy, Texas.

Dr. Kashani grew up in Houston, Texas, and attended Second Baptist Middle School and High School. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Rochester General Hospital through the University of Rochester School of Medicine in New York, where he also served as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor. He attended Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, for his cardiovascular and electrophysiology training. Rajen Mehta, MD, FACC, is a skilled cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston and Katy, Texas. 

Born in Winnipeg, Canada, Dr. Mehta grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Memorial High School. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and graduated on the Dean’s List. He continued to medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Mamillapalli is a compassionate cardiologist specializing in personal, evidence-based care with a passion for women’s health. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Connecticut, where she received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award. John Sunew, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a skilled cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston, Katy, Cypress and Fulshear, Texas.

He held many leadership roles with the Inova Health System, including Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Inova Alexandria Hospital and Chairman of the Inova Cardiology Quality Steering Committee. He was also Regional Leader for Northern Virginia in the Virginia Heart Attack Coalition. In addition, Dr. Sunew served as Assistant Professor for the Department of Internal Medicine, Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine Inova Campus. He was also involved in several clinical research trials and academic publications. 

Dr. Sunew can offer the latest and most innovative treatments in cardiology, interventional cardiology, and peripheral vascular disease.
