Kelly Averill, MD, is a compassionate and dedicated pediatric epilepsy & neurology specialist at Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center in the Lockhill-Selma area of San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Averill received her medical education from the University of Texas’s McGovern Medical School before pursuing a residency program in pediatric neurology.
With a passion for pediatric care, Dr. Averill is board-certified in pediatric epilepsy & neurology. She specializes in intractable epilepsy, and uses advanced treatments such as Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) and CBD oil to help patients find relief for their symptoms. In addition, she has special interest in neurocutaneous syndromes such as tuberous sclerosis, as well as pediatric stroke.
