I would definitely recommend Michigan Advanced Pain and Spine! I live about 45 min away and it is well worth the drive. On my first apt the Doc spent at least 30 to 45 min with me. If you have been to another Doc recently this hasShow more become very rare. The last Doc I saw was in the room for no more then 3 min. Dr Eduardo Otero Loperena was great. He took time to explain and answer any questions I had. He laid out a treatment plan and clearly explained the timeline. I highly recommend Michigan Advanced. After my previous experience at other Dr office I felt very defeated. It is great to know that there are still doctors that will take the time and truly want to help you.
Dr Otero is a very kind and compassionate man who took the time to show me my MRI, explain why things were hurting and what can be done to help mobility and pain. Even though the office was busy, he listened while I talked about sShow moreome very stressful situations I'd been going through and that kind of caring is hard to find. I love everybody who works in this office! They are professional without being cold or arrogant, they are compassionate and kind, and will do whatever they can to help you feel better and Dr Otero is a wonderful addition to the family.

Very caring doctors Listened to all of my concerns..
Everyone is always so friendly and professional.
This was a follow up visit after an RFA procedure, as always he asked how I felt and what more he could do to resolve the issues I'm having. I've been very pleased with the treatment I've received from everyone here.
The staff and doctors are wonderful! I'm very thankful for all of them! They listen and figure a action plan to take care of your pain, so you may have a great quality of life.
But they are very nice people and they do care about your pain and I'm very satisfied with the penguins I am going to now

Everyone is very efficient and friendly. I never have to wait to be seen and the doctors really listen. Keep in mind that all the pain you are having is not always curable but if they can help you they will. I love the fact that the surgical center is right next door and they are great too. When you are in pain it’s not always easy for a patient to get help especially now with the pain med situation and they understand and are kind about the whole thing. I would definitely recommend them if you are hurting.
He is very focused on the task at hand. He drained fluid from my knee, and knew it was uncomfortable but he kept asking me if I was ok. He also explained what he was doing as he did it He is a very caring doctor. All the staff is wonderful

Dr Otero is amazing! I can't say enough about him and the support I have received from the staff. I came to the office as a new patient who could barely walk. After having my tests done and getting my diagnosis we knew surgery was was only option. They explained everything in detail. The surgery center was great! I have NO pain and can walk again immediately after my procedure. I am one happy lady here!
