Martha Harrison, MD, joined OBGYN Westside in early 2026. She is an obstetrician-gynecologist and clinical instructor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Harrison’s practice focuses on general obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in robotic surgery, family planning, and care of LGBTQ patients.

Dr. Harrison joined Mount Sinai after completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology with Allegheny Health Network. During her residency, she was recognized with the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award. She received her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. Karen F. Brodman, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN committed to providing quality gynecology care to women of all ages. Shira Plonka is a board certified Genetic Counselor at ROSH Maternal Fetal Medicine. Additionally, she is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC); she earned her Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College. Prior to receiving her master’s, Shira received an honors degree in psychology and social work from University of Waterloo. Shira has held internships in many of New York City’s top hospitals, acquiring a broad exposure to many disciplines and specialties, including cancer and pediatric genetics.
