As a practicing OB/GYN with more than 17 years of experience, Elizabeth Ramirez, MD, FACOG, is proud to provide health care to women at every stage of their lives at Jersey Women’s Care Center in Jersey City and Fair Lawn, New Jersey. At the practice, she speaks both English and Spanish.

Dr. Ramirez completed her higher education upon graduating from Universidad Central del Este, in the Dominican Republic, in 1993. From there, she emigrated to the United States and began her surgical fellowship at North Shore University Hospital, affiliated with Hofstra University, located in Manhasset, New York. She continued her residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in the OB/GYN Department, where she became the administrative chief resident.

Ana Bermudez, MD, FACOG is a skilled, board-certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Serving patients at OBGYN Westside on the Upper West Side of New York City, Dr. Bermudez welcomes patients from throughout the five boroughs.

Dr. Bermudez received her bachelor’s in International Relations from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she was a Davis Scholar. She continued on to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to complete her pre-medical studies. Returning to Brown for her graduate studies, Dr. Bermudez earned her medical degree from the Alpert Medical School with academic and public service honors.

Relocating to California, Dr. Bermudez completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles. After years of intense study, she was named an attending physician at Stanford Medicine Partners in Northern California. She enjoys providing care in all areas of obstetrics and gynecology, including labor and delivery, preconception, and contraceptive counseling.

Ching-Lynn Chen, MD, FACOG is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist who has a special interest in helping women optimize their overall wellness as well as their reproductive and sexual health through every stage of life, including adolescence, pregnancy and menopause. In addition to her love of obstetrics, her interests include contraception, adolescent gynecology, perimenopause and menopause, and family planning. She has been in private practice with OBGYN Westside since 2000 and is a founding member. 

Dr. Chen received B.A. in psychology at Stanford University, and is a graduate of the SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. Dr. Chen is a member of the voluntary faculty and is a Assistant Professor at the Mount Sinai Hospital on the upper east side of Manhattan where she remains active in medical student and resident education. She enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, hiking and walking her dog in Central Park.

Michelle D. Morgan, M.D. FACOG is a founding member of OBGYN Westside, where she has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology on the since 2001. Dr. Morgan attended Lehigh University for her undergraduate degree in civil engineering, and then earned her medical degree at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology training at the Mount Sinai Hospital on the upper east side of Manhattan, where she is an Assistant Professor and remains active in medical education.

Justine Kim, MD is a board certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Kim is committed to providing each patient with compassionate, skilled and comfortable care.

Dr. Kim attended Columbia University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude specializing in Neuroscience and Behavior. She then went on to SUNY Downstate Medical School where she not only graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society but was also awarded the 41st Annual Chandler McCuskey Brooks Award. This prestigious award is given to one medical student for outstanding achievement in the basic sciences.

Dr. Kim then completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Dr. Kim has been awarded several research grants and worked in various research departments throughout her career. She has special clinical interests in laparoscopic surgery and family planning.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Kim enjoys painting, exploring new restaurants and walking her corgi, Frankie, around the park.

Katharine Pelletier, MD, is an experienced, board-certified OBGYN. She joined the team of compassionate providers at OBGYN Westside, PLLC, located in the Upper West Side of New York City, and sees patients throughout the five boroughs and tri-state area.

Dr. Pelletier is a native New Yorker who is particularly interested in general pregnancy care, high-risk obstetrics, contraception, adolescent GYN, and LGBTQ+ care. She graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and completed her premedical studies at Columbia University in New York, New York, after which she received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn.

Dr. Pelletier completed her OBGYN residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, and comes to the practice with experience in private practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and improving her French language skills.

Dr. Adam Romoff is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who has been in practice since 1980.

He graduated from the City College of New York and then went on to medical school at the University of Connecticut. He did a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Romoff is the former Associate Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He has also held the position of Director of Residency Education.

He has published a review of shoulder dystocia and a review of lymph node involvement in cervical cancer. He is the author of the book, Estrogen How and Why It Can Save Your Life. He is currently working on a book on the improvements in women's health care.

Joan Berman, MD, has been providing personalized, compassionate gynecological care to patients in New York City for over 25 years. At her practice in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Dr. Berman and her knowledgeable staff take pride in cultivating long-standing relationships with many patients while welcoming new ones.

Dr. Berman’s diverse medical experience includes a two-year training program in sex therapy and over 20 years consulting for Columbia University’s Student Health Center.  She believes these experiences give her a unique insight into treating and addressing complex issues many women find difficult to discuss. Dr. Berman treats patients at every stage of life from adolescence to adulthood, menopause and beyond.

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Berman’s medical career began with academic excellence in her hometown. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona, where she was a Baird Scholar and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Arizona, Dr. Berman worked in a research laboratory, volunteered at a diabetes clinic on the Papago Reservation, and served with a surgical team in Papua New Guinea. She then chose to do her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where she maintains privileges and is an Assistant Clinical Professor.

Dr. Berman is committed to keeping up with modern advances in medicine and regularly attends conferences for continuing education. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and gynecology. Every year she takes an exam to maintain her Board certification. She is also a member of the North American Menopause Society and will be a certified Menopause practitioner.
