I am a wife, mother, doctor and a businesswoman. Just like any woman, I wear many hats. I come from very humble beginnings and was raised to be a strong, positive, independent woman. I grew up in India and finished my medical school there. During medical school, I developed the passion for women’s health. I did residency training in obstetrics and gynecology in India. During this time, I married my high school sweetheart. Life after 2001 suddenly shifted and my husband had to move to the United States. That’s when I made a career move and came to the US to be together as a family. We started our new life here and I joined a residency program at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit. I enjoyed every single day of my training. This is where I met Dr. Kelly Gumbrecht. Kelly and I were always a great team. We began taking over the world together when we both became chief residents. Since then I have found a forever friend. We started working together in private practice in Rochester Hills and that’s when we found another friend in Dr. Goulding.
Beyond Women’s Care brings new beginnings and hope for me. We come together as a team of friends who are more like family, and we bring the same support and compassion to our patients.

2020 has brought significant change to my life. And to all of our lives. I would not have foreseen needing to wear a mask to walk out in public. I have never washed my hands so much in my life, and working in medicine, that’s saying a lot.
There has been so much change in my family life. I have marveled at the experience of watching my now fourteen year old daughter form and practice her adult self. She tugs (sometimes painfully) at boundaries as she stretches her wings. My eleven year old son is in earlier stages of this process. I can see clearly that he will be a kind and thoughtful man.
There has been so much change in the practice of Medicine as a whole. The digital age has supported major advancements in medical safety, and has provided scaffolding for the collection of ever enlarging medical information. It is no longer realistic to “know it all” in Medicine. Setting up a network of resources to rely upon help guide me towards the path of practicing Medicine that is evidence based and always pointing towards best in practice.
I could not ask for a better network to rely upon than what I have at Beyond Women’s Care. There is so much to be said for a team working together in a collaborative approach. Being part of this dynamic team offers continued exposure to new thoughts and techniques that continue to improve my offerings in the practice of Medicine. I grew up right here in Rochester Hills and I am so happy to be able to practice medicine in my hometown at Beyond Women's Care. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to become a physician, a determination that was tested - but never wavered - during my college years at the University of Michigan. I developed a passion for women's care as a medical student at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and subsequently completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ascension Providence Hospital in 2019.
Before joining Beyond Women's Care, I was an OBGYN in another private practice in the metro Detroit area. I have had the opportunity to work with a wonderful array of patients from many different backgrounds and with many different care needs.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, our two-year-old son, Teddy, and our two cats. I also love to run, travel, and binge watch TV shows and movies.
Lauren Shaddox, MSN, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife on the team at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., which has offices in Rochester Hills, Troy, and Lenox, Michigan.
Lauren completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Prior to earning her Master’s degree, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish language and literature from the University of Colorado.
Before moving to Michigan with her family, Lauren worked for over a decade as a nurse and a midwife at a large hospital in Dallas, Texas, where she cared for thousands of families with a specific focus on individualized and supportive care. Lauren is grateful for every patient and family she has ever served, because each one has taught her important lessons about life and the art and science of midwifery.
Lauren’s professional interests include patient-centered care and shared decision-making, trauma-informed care, perinatal mental health, and breastfeeding support. Lauren is fluent in Spanish.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys time outdoors with her husband and children, exercising, catching up with friends and colleagues, and knitting and sewing.
Deepthi Lingam, MD, is an OB/GYN at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., which has locations in Rochester Hills and Troy, Michigan. Dr. Lingam is excited to offer comprehensive gynecological services to women in all phases of their lives, with a special interest in fertility and menopausal medicine.
She is a native of Michigan and has been in practice for 19 years after training at Corewell Health Dearborn, where she completed her residency.
Dr. Lingam is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also an Hour Detroit Top Doc.

Shelley Sapick, M.D., is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sapick is proud to be serving the needs of women at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan.
Dr. Sapick earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. She went on to complete her residency training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and has been in private practice since 2005. Her special interests include high-risk obstetrics, complicated pelvic surgery, and minimally invasive gynecology techniques.
Originally from the Cincinnati area, Dr. Sapick has resided in Michigan since 2001. She is excited to be permanently settling in the area after her marriage in 2008. Many of her former patients may also recognize her by her maiden name of “Steenken.”

Brandy completed her Nurse-Midwifery program at Frontier Nursing University, earning a Master of Science in Nursing. Before becoming a certified nurse midwife, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Royal Oak Beaumont for 7.5 years.
Brandy spent over six years in the US Navy. During her military service, Brandy first found her love for pregnancy and birth while serving on the labor and delivery unit at Naval Medical Center San Diego, caring for military women and spouses. She also has spent four years on sea duty, serving as a member of the ship's medical team.
Outside of work, Brandy enjoys spending time with her family, watching her daughter play hockey, and being an avid Swiftie.

Sophie Harrison, MSN, CNM, WHNP, is a certified nurse-midwife on the team at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. She cares for patients throughout Rochester Hills, Troy, and Lenox, Michigan.
Sophie completed her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery at Yale School of Nursing. Prior to earning her Master's degree, she received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, with a major in ecology. During her midwifery program she worked as a nurse at a freestanding birth center. She worked as a midwife in New York's Hudson Valley and Kalamazoo before returning home to southeast Michigan to provide care in 2021.
Sophie's professional interests include preventive and preconception care and perinatal education. She loves supporting patients and families of all kinds throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. In her spare time, Sophie enjoys reading, running, and hanging out with her fiancé Chris, their dog Lulu, and cats Goose and Bugs.

Dr. Tooley attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate training. She received her medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and completed her residency at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. In residency she served as the resident representative for the robotic surgery curriculum and was recognized for excellence in maternal fetal medicine.
Dr. Tooley enjoys taking care of patients at all stages of life. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgical procedures including robotic surgery, general and high-risk obstetrics, and infertility work-up and treatment. Staci Hopkins, M.D., is a dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist bringing ten + years of experience to the team at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan. Dr. Hopkins strives to create a personal and fulfilling relationship with each of her patients.
Dr. Hopkins was raised in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University in East Lansing for her undergraduate training, followed by Michigan State University College of Human Medicine for her medical degree. Dr. Hopkins then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Chicago, Illinois, at Rush University Medical Center. She was chosen as chief resident during her final year, and upon graduation received the Excellence in Surgery award, presented by the attending physicians.
Dr. Hopkins has an amazing breadth of knowledge in all things Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dana O’Connor, DNP, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. in Rochester Hills and Troy, Michigan. Dana takes a holistic approach to care, providing medical support that encourages your wellness in all aspects of your health care.
Dana attended Saginaw Valley State University in University Center, Michigan. She then worked as a labor and delivery nurse assistant at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. During that time, she was working on completing her certifications in holistic nursing and electronic fetal monitoring (EFM). After obtaining her certifications, she went on to pursue her master’s degree in nursing at Frontier Nursing University.
She joined Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in 2017, but moved to Denver, Colorado with her family in 2021. She returned to the practice in 2023 and is excited to be back home in Michigan.

Buffie started her nursing career in the United States Army as a combat medic. She went on to earn her associate’s degree in nursing from San Antonio College in Texas, her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and her Master of Science in Nursing as a certified nurse-midwife from Wayne State University.
She has traveled extensively, following her husband’s military career, and has been blessed to work in many different areas of nursing, including pediatrics, labor and delivery, postpartum, and outpatient women’s health. Buffie was a certified childbirth educator and instructed classes in Kansas, West Virginia, and South Korea. She is also a certified physical fitness instructor-trainer for the US Army Pregnancy Physical Training Program.
Buffie is an all-time favorite and has quite an amazing reputation. She provides intensely personal and loving care to all of her patients.

Dr. Page attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree and earned her medical degree from Wayne State University. She went on to complete her residency at the Detroit Medical Center/Sinai Hospital, where she received the Resident of Excellence Award in Laparoscopy and the Resident Research Award. Heather received her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in 2020 after earning an Associate of Science in Nursing from Macomb Community College in 2003. She has been working alongside the midwives and doctors of Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in the Labor and Delivery unit of Troy Beaumont Hospital for the past thirteen years! Many of you will probably already know her from the wonderful care she provided you during your hospital stays.
Passionate about women’s health, Heather is committed to providing individualized care to her patients across the lifespan, aims to support normal physiological birth, and has a special interest in working with new moms on breastfeeding challenges. She has served a total of sixteen years as a Labor and Delivery nurse and holds an in-patient Obstetrics Nursing National Certification.
Outside of work, Heather loves to spend time outdoors with her family, traveling, camping, hiking, and skiing.

Nicole Dolan, DO, joined Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., which has offices in Rochester Hills and Troy, Michigan, in 2025. She has been in practice in the area since 2009, and is excited to join the practice and continue taking excellent care of women from their childbearing years through menopause. Her goal is to help women lead the most positive, joyful lives they can by partnering with them to be their healthiest.
Dr. Dolan spent her undergraduate years at Michigan State University in East Lansing. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan.

Dr. Dhir grew up in Clarkston, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University in East Lansing for her undergraduate training, followed by West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine for her medical degree. Dr. Dhir completed her residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
During residency, she served as Resident Education Chair and joined the Obstetric Initiative Committee, where she worked toward improvement initiatives in maternity care. Dr. Dhir received certifications in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery, as well as the da Vinci (R) Robotic System. She also had the honor of working as Chief Resident in her final year.
