Michele Hakimian, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist and co-founder at Progressive Care for Women in downtown Chicago. Dr. Hakimian brings over 20 years of experience to the practice.

Dr. Hakimian received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Matthew King is a board-certified gynecologist.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  He then completed his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology here in Chicago at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he also served as chief resident.
 
After practicing on the east coast, Dr. King is excited to return home to Chicago and join the Progressive Care for Women team and the staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.  His goal as a gynecologist is to provide his patients with individualized evidence-based medical care so they can make informed healthcare decisions and take charge of their health.  
 
His clinical interests include LGBTQ+ healthcare, cervical dysplasia, family planning and contraceptive care, and the management of abnormal uterine bleeding with minimally invasive methods.  Dr. King has a special interest in gynecologic ultrasound and has previously given an oral presentation at the Central Association of Obstetricians / Gynecologists on the role of sonography in the diagnosis of retained products of conception.  In his spare time, Dr. King enjoys traveling the globe with his husband and family, reading anything from a fictional mystery to the latest Ob/Gyn journal, and running around the city.

Kate Nash, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist at Progressive Care for Women in downtown Chicago.

Dr. Nash is a native of Chicago and has been a part of the Northwestern University community for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, where she was Chief Resident. She is now an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Nash’s interests include uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and menopause. She is also a breast cancer survivor and has a special interest in the care of breast cancer survivors and women at high risk of breast cancer.

Outside of work, Dr. Nash enjoys staying active and cooking with her husband and two growing boys.

Daniel Rostein, MD, FACOG is an Infertility Specialist and board-certified gynecologist. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of infertility treatments, working in the Chicagoland area with offices in Oak Brook and the Midway Airport area.

Dr. Rostein is a proud native of Argentina and received his M.D. from Buenos Aires National University at FetoMaternal Hospital in Buenos Aires, where he graduated with honors.

During his fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, he focused on Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. His work during this time centered on several areas, primarily age and infertility. My approach has always been what Carl Rogers called the power of the “therapeutic relationship”, which includes: unconditional positive regard, compassion, genuineness, empathy, and congruency. We help to empower the client by encouraging them to find their own solutions, which always lie within them. One of my specialties is exploring spirituality.

Empathy is built by establishing a trusting relationship and letting the client know that you fully accept them for who they are. This relationship encourages self exploration, catharsis, and taking positive risks which foster personal growth. Shawn Davies, MD, is an experienced OB/GYN at Yorktown Health, located in Lombard, Illinois. He has over 22 years of experience with interests in both Obstetrics and Gynecology. His goal has always been to provide the best-individualized care possible to reach the best outcome.  

Dr. Davies attended college at Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets for four years. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, he attended medical school at Rush Medical College from 1990 to 1994. He completed his residency training at Rush University Medical Center from 1994 to 1998 in Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Dr. Davies was board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in December 2000. He has been actively practicing as an attending physician since July 1998. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.

Dr. Davies is a father of four children and has always been active in coaching and refereeing their activities from AYSO to YBall.

Ewa A. Bilinski, MD, provides caring gynecologic and obstetrics care to patients at Women for Women OBGYN, SC in Forest Glen of Chicago. She enjoys developing close bonds with her patients, and finds it very fulfilling. She knows her patients very well, and enjoys talking with women about their children, how things are going at work, and how they are feeling generally.

Dr. Bilinski completed medical school at Wroclaw Medical University in Poland. She then completed a family medicine residency at Swedish Covenant Hospital, located in Chicago, followed by an obstetrics and gynecology residency at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Hospital Chicago. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. In addition, she is Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certified and Postpartum Hemorrhage Project certified. 

Dr. Bilinski stays up to date on the latest advancements in her field and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, North American Menopause Society, Polish American Medical Association, and the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases. She has contributed her expertise to research studies as well as medical publications.

Kornelia Krol, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN offering her expert care at Women for Women OBGYN, SC in Forest Glen of Chicago. Dr. Krol recognizes that a woman’s health is her most valuable asset and strives to help all of her patients across Chicago stay well and feel their best. She addresses all women’s specific medical care issues, including prenatal care, obstetrics, and gynecologic issues, such as pelvic pain, irregular bleeding, and menopause.

A superb gynecologic surgeon, Dr. Krol is adept at conventional techniques as well as the most up-to-date technology that includes operative laparoscopy and robotic procedures. After immigrating to the United States, she entered a pathology training program at the University of Illinois, Chicago, followed by OB/GYN residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield and earned OB-GYN Board certification. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and recipient of numerous professional and teaching awards.

Active in local, national, and international medical societies, Dr. Krol also devotes countless hours to charitable causes benefiting the Polish community in Chicago. She serves women of all ethnicities and by speaking three languages (English, Polish, and Serbo-Croatian) she is especially popular among women of Slavic origin. Her dedicated staff is also multi-lingual.
