Louisa Griggs, MD, FACOG, is excited to be the newest member of the team at Advanced OB/GYNE Associates, located in Hoffman Estates and Arlington Heights, Illinois, and serving the greater Chicagoland area.
Dr. Griggs earned her medical degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, located in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Griggs remembers making a hospital out of her trampoline as a little girl and pretending to deliver babies for her dolls. From that time on, she has had a strong passion for women's health which she brings to her approach towards patient care every day. Her interests include but are not limited to contraception, benign and high-risk obstetrics, traditional gynecological care, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and providing the best care possible to each patient.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling which allowed her to spend a year in Ecuador enhancing her Spanish speaking skills, and spending time with her husband as they explore the Northwest suburbs.
To better serve her patients, Dr. Griggs is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Louisa Griggs is very professional, she gives me a lot of confidence and I feel very comfortable with her.
Nice and friendly at appt. Did a confirmation pregnant appt aka first OB appt and they don’t even do an ultrasound! How crazy is that? What kind of confirmation visit is that? Nothing is scheduled until 12 weeks which is not standard of practice. Very disappointed, had to pay a cash service ultrasound office to do one.
