Ben Ha, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN at Pacifica Health who sees patients in the East Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles and in Monterey Park, California, offices. He specializes in complete women’s health services.

Dr. Ha graduated from the California Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He went on to earn his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. After medical school, Dr. Ha completed an OB/GYN residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo.

He is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Chinese American Medical Association of Southern California and the Asian American Medical Association. Dr. Ha is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

His research interests include the possible association between hormonal contraception and postpartum weight retention. Dr. Ha’s treatment expertise includes pregnancy testing, gynecological services, prenatal care, and annual exams. Dr. Hong graduated from the University of California Los Angeles, where he was awarded the Regents Scholarship. He earned his master’s degree in applied physiology from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois, followed by his Doctor of Medicine Degree. After medical school, Dr. Hong completed an obstetrics/gynecology residency at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles.

He received numerous honors and awards, including the Gold Humanism Honor Society Award, the Leonard Tow 2006 Humanism in Medicine Award, and the Nurses Choice Award for Excellence by LAC+USC Medical Center Women & Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Hong is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lin graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where she was awarded the Regents Scholarship. After medical school, Dr. Lin completed her OB/GYN residency at Long Island College Hospital, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident and received the Junior Resident Excellence in Surgical Skill Award.

Laura graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2016 with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. She then returned to Cal Poly to receive her Masters degree in Kinesiology in 2019 supporting herself working as a Physical Therapy Aide during this time.

Along her journey she discovered and developed a love for helping people in a new way by becoming a Physician Assistant. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2021. Upon completion, she decided to return to the Central Coast to practice.

She is fluent in French and in her free time, she enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, traveling, and going to the beach.
