Faina Akselrod, MD, FACOG, FACS, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At Advanced Gynecology & Surgery in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn, New York. She focuses on providing individualized gynecologic care to women of all ages.

Chike Obianwu, MD, serves Alliance OB/GYN, located in Hainesport and Delran, New Jersey, as board-certified OB/GYN and cosmetic surgeon with advanced training in minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery, and a special interest in fibroid management. He also has extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics.

Dr. Obianwu received in Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Tulsa University, before going on to get his doctorate of medicine from Ross University. Following medical school, Dr. Obianwu completed a fellowship in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Obianwu is a Fellow of the American College of Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Cosmetic Surgery. From 2006 to 2016, Dr. Obianwu worked as the chief of Obstetrics at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey. While there, he sat on several committees, took on a variety of leadership roles, and piloted the hospital’s da Vinci® robotic surgery program. He continues to serve on the Virtua Hospital Robotic Steering Committee.

Nicola Pemberton, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Artemis OB/GYN in Union, New Jersey. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, where she was recognized for her resident teaching and given a faculty position at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York City, where she also served as a clinical assistant professor at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. 

Dr. Pemberton is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Alecia Giovinazzo is a board certified physician in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her practice is located in Staten Island, NY and provides care for women of all ages. Dr. Giovinazzo and her team provide prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gynecological problems as well as preconception, antepartum, and postpartum care for pregnant patients. Dr. Giovinazzo opened her own practice in 2005 with a mission to provide comprehensive healthcare to all women in office by women for women. The office was recently relocated into a beautiful new space that offers more patient rooms, on-site sonography, and parking.
