What a lovely experience. I left smiling and satisfied with my experience. Everyone was super warm and helpful. They all made me feel very comfortable. This was my first time there and I loved how clean the entire grounds was and Show morei appreciated that the place did not have a weird smell or stinch like some other MD offices tend to have. Very cozy couches/ chairs nestled at different areas of office was great as my husband enjoyed them. The bathrooms were clean. I waited quite a bit for each professional I saw today however that was not a bother to me because I am one who values service and how I'm treated. So I don't mind to be there all day as long as I get great customer service and caring professionals; all of which I got here at Artemis OB-GYN. From the secretary, to amber ( I can't recall her title- she might have been the medical tech), to lisa my sonogram tech down to Myqueesha, CNM were Great. Myqueesha was wonderful I loved how she was able to make me and my husband laugh a bit as we were both nervous. Myqueesha is well versed in her field and down to earth. She made me feel very comfortable. She went out her way to give me extra information on the birthing center which I was curious about. She was thorough and gave me a chance to ask questions for my concerns. A MAJOR plus for me was to see women of african descent and other women of color; women who looked like me providing me with care which is often underepresented in the medical world. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a pregnancy/birthing journey that uses other frameworks aside from a strict conventional medical model regarding pregnancy and birth. I would recommend Artemis to anyone who values great customer service, caring professionals and a clean and comfortable office space. Elated for my next appointment!
As a pregnant woman and mother of a toddler, coming to see Dr Pemberton and/or any member of her midwife staff, I felt so cared for and everyone is so patient with my little family as we came and went, month after month, then weekShow more after week. The whole staff made us feel welcome every visit. I had hoped to vbac and not all practitioners are open to that, but Dr Pemberton did her very best to help give me the birth I hoped for and in the end, I needed a c-section and yet I still felt seen, heard, and incredibly safe and cared for through the surgery and the postpartum care I received. Dr Pemberton holds the highest of standards and I absolutely love her practice!
She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, where she was recognized for her resident teaching and given a faculty position at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York City, where she also served as a clinical assistant professor at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
Dr. Pemberton is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her training includes general laparoscopic and robotic gynecology surgery for procedures such as myomectomy, hysterectomy, and ovarian pathology. She performs numerous in-office procedures, including endometrial ablation, cryosurgery, colposcopy, and cone biopsies.
A native New Yorker who is now happy to call New Jersey home, Dr. Pemberton lives in the West Orange area with her husband and three children.

Dr. PEMBERTON is very engaging. She answered most of my questions before i asked them and took time to explain the procedure I am going to go through thoroughly, in layman’s language not medical jargon.
What a warm, gentle and KNOWLEDGEABLE Doctor!! It felt great that she REALLY ,REALLY took the time to LISTEN TO ME.... The practice overall is excellent and such a great staff. I regret not coming here years ago , I absolutely recommend this Doctor and this practice...

Nicola Pemberton, MD was the Delivering clinician, she is a RockStar who is amazing at her profession and life purpose. I feel so lucky that I just so happened to need to go into labor on a night that Nicola Pemberton, MD was on call. I thank my lucky stars. Dr. Pemberton honored my birth plan and I have a positive birth to show/tell for it. She also has a wonderful positive mental attitude and character about her that gave me a secure feeling that I carried with me into the birthing experience. I have loved my experiences with Dr. Pemberton and her staff so far. It’s has been about 9 months of coming to this office and everyone is friendly and Dr. Pemberton has been amazing through her advice and her care during my surgical procedure and the follow up/after care. I would highly recommend. Office waits can be long sometimes, but it makes sense because everyone wants to be seen by her, and it’s worth it.
The staffis very professional ,very people friendĺy.I felt like Dr.Pemberton was my sister and we were just talking! No pressure to make a decision.The Np was just ad kind and knowledgeable. I can't forget my girl KYLA,very down to earth,very comforting,its good to go to an establishment where the staff is friendly ,smiling and you feel welcomed.also I've never had along waiting period to get treated!!!!I give them 10/10
I truly enjoyed my consultation with Dr. Pemberton. She is super intelligent, respectful and kind. She listened carefully to all my concerns regarding my test results and alleviated my anxiety. I highly recommend her!

This was my first time going to an OBGYN . and it was absolutely phenomenal! I’m 26 and I went in completely blind. Dr. Sarah was an absolute pleasure ! Her and the student she was with made me feel so comfortable and they were soo informative . My pap procedure was so easy , simple , and overall just great. I highly recommend!
Sarah rocks she has great bedsides mannerism, very educated, entertains my quirkiness and most importantly respects your time!

Nurse practionier Fiona was very engaging, welcoming personality. In fact all of the staff were very warm and professional. I lovevthe decor of the office. Nice and clean and pleasing to the eye. Overall a great experience. They could improve on answering the secure messages, it often takes serial calls and several emails before the issue is resolved. Much better experience face to face
