About Dr. Lori Dao, MD
Dr. Lori Dao, a native Texan, is a highly skilled pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismologist, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders in children as well as eye muscle disorders and double vision in all ages. Her areas of expertise include strabismus (misalignment of the eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), progressive myopia, diplopia (double vision) and many other vision impairments.
Education: Dr. Dao received her medical degree from a UT Southwestern in Dallas and completed her residency in ophthalmology at UT Southwestern in Dallas. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas/UT Southwestern.
Experience: With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr. Dao has become a trusted name in pediatric eye care and adult strabismus. She has been selected to D Best list selected by her peers since 2016. She has worked at top hospitals and clinics, providing compassionate and comprehensive eye care to her young and older patients alike.
