Dr. Derica N. Sams is a board-certified pediatrician with subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. She completed her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Vanderbilt University and pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her MD degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, and she is a graduate of Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Educational Studies. Her clinical interests include functional GI disorders, weight management, and integrative pediatrics.
James H. Lin, MD, received his Bachelor's degree in chemistry from Duke University, and his Medical Degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He then completed his pediatrics internship and residency with the Emory University School of Medicine. He has been practicing general pediatrics for over 20 years, taking care of children from birth through the teenage years.

Nhung Hoang, PA-C received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Georgia and her Master degree of Health Science from South College-Atlanta. She has been practicing as a Physician Assistant for 1 year and is excited to further her career in pediatrics. In her free time, she likes to cook, kayak, play bowling, draw/paint, and hang out with her friends and family. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

I have 16 years experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, having worked with Pediatric Gastroenterology, with CHOA and GI Care for Kids, and General Pediatrics. I believe in and practice Follow up care, and utilize this method to ensure care provided is effective. I care for my patients, as if my own.
