Being diagnosed with severe food allergies and/or immune deficiencies can be very stressful for patients and their families and Dr. Chan strives to improve their quality of life by helping families manage and cope with these conditions.
Dr. Chan grew up in Southern California but had the fortune to train and work nationally. In 2014, Dr. Chan joined the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology faculty as Assistant Professor at National Jewish Health. He was also Assistant Professor in the department of Biomedical Research working on understanding how the immune system causes allergic reactions to pets and foods, as well as teaching residents and fellows how to care for patients. Over the years, he has published numerous scientific articles in the basic sciences and in the clinical management of immune deficiency and allergic diseases.
“Dr. Chan and the whole team is great! They listen and answer all my questions. And I never have a problem scheduling appointments. Overall I feel lucky to have such good medical care.”
